Very helpful. Kept me informed as to where the cremation would take place and when. As it was a direct cremation I can only give limited feedback but the staff at your YO31 7YJ York branch were excellent.

Very good team, led by Will. All the team were kind and compassionate but with the exact amount of organisation at what was a difficult time. He and his team kept us well informed throughout the preparation for Mum’s funeral. Lois was especially kind and patient with us.

I would like to say that Heworth Co-op Funeral Care were nothing but First Class, Lois, Will and Richard showed Sympathy Care and Compassion to Me and my children on the death of my darling Wife Cynthia. Nothing was a problem, they talked through every step of the funeral. The team at Heworth were excellent during all our dealings with them. Lois and Will were thoughtful and understanding and I felt that they wanted to do everything they could to make my Mum’s funeral a ‘good send off’. These things are always upsetting but I can say they achieved this and that they gave  my Mum and those of us mourning her the utmost respect and kindness.
