The service we received from Co op Funeralcare York was absolutely brilliant in dealing with my Mum's funeral.
Our Funeral Director, Donna Pagdin was extremely caring, sensitive and very understanding, given the situation we were in - Nothing was too much trouble.

A few communication issues which I was informed was due to staff absence and couldn’t have been foreseen but overall the service was very good. Faye was very respectful and considerate and the arrangements were as I had requested. Order of Service was good quality and communication with celebrant was good.

The Co op funeral care was absolutely brilliant at dealing with my mother's funeral. From the very first day the service was quick efficient and very professional. Our funeral director was caring sensitive and very understanding of our needs at what is a very distressing time. All the way through from the first day to the day of the funeral the support they gave was amazing. Thank you so much to Faye and all the staff.

We had nothing in place for my dad and he suddenly passed away at home after battling with cancer, I called them straight away and they came and took my dad to their funeral home within a few hours, the service was excellent from start to finish, I couldn't of asked for a better company to look after my dad and the funeral day itself ran very smoothly. I would highly recommend the Coop for anyone who has lost a loved one, Faye and her team were exemplary, nothing was too much to ask them for. Thank you.

The whole experience, from my first meeting with Anna to discuss the arrangements for my Auntie's funeral and then the funeral ceremony where Faye was the Funeral Director, was second to none.
I had never had to arrange a funeral before and I was so impressed by the quiet, professional yet very personal care shown to me.
My Auntie was given such a gentle, dignified and personal funeral which was all I'd wished for.

Although Eric was 101 it was still a shock and Faye and the team just took over.
A big thank you to Faye and the team for for excellent service. Although we live in France everything was seamless. We especially liked the order of service and our friend who is a graphic designer said it was the best she had ever seen. You made a strange situation very easy for us all and we have had comments from the family that 'we did him proud'. Now that's Yorkshire for you
