When you have to deal with a death in the family for the first time it can be very difficult. Having Vicky and her team at Haxby to guide us through and organise everything was absolutely perfect.

From our first meeting I knew Vicky was was the perfect person to help arrange my fathers funeral. Vicky made me feel at ease her care, compassion & empathy shown through, Vicky provided an impeccable service. Her support has been amazing & been there for me night & day whenever I needed it even after the funeral. My father looked beautiful & serene. Vicky ensured every thing was perfect right down to the smallest detail of placing meaningful items with my father, a box of tissues of which he would never be without. The receptionist were all lovely & happy to help. Everyone at the funeral asked who the lovely lady was & took details. I cannot reccomend Haxby coop enough I feel they went above & beyond wish I could have given more stars.
Thankyou Vicky & Team for making a sad day into a joyous farewell.

Things promised buying the silver plan were not provided and the family had to argue their case which caused much distress. They rang one day and the call was put through to Manchester as the office was closed. The gentleman said he would email the office but when the funeral director rang a few days later she totally denied this. Would never use them again under any circumstances and feel so agreived by the whole thing we are sourcing a headstone ourselves without the assistance of the funeral director.

From the first phone call right through to collecting the ashes after the funeral, I felt fully supported by a thoughtful and compassionate team. At every point I was given the information and support I needed to make my own decisions. It was clear that each member of the team cared about every detail of the funeral, and that it should be exactly as I wished it to be. Vicky Stott's presence at the funeral itself was reassuring, and her quiet guidance whenever needed was much appreciated.

Excellent service from all the team at Co Op Funeralcare Haxby. From the first meeting and organising arrangements for cremation and other funeral services, to the preparation of our loved one and being able to visit at the Chapel of Rest. Everyone was extremely kind and caring and handled everything in a professional manner. The day itself went without a hitch, our loved one got a last ride out through York city centre which was a very touching gesture. We really couldn’t have asked for any more, thank you to all.
