The staff at Coop Funeral Care, Gale Lane, Acomb, York were very reassuring at a time when people need support. They were efficient but kind and very professional.

Donna was very professional,knowledgeable and empathetic when guiding us through an unfamiliar process during this deeply upsetting time.

It’s not the first time we have used the Co-op Funeralcare in Acomb, the first time being our Step dad Robert Cammidge and the service we received was very professional, Shirley Cammidge our Mother’s funeral was no exception, we chose to have Bookmarks with a poem, something which people could use and remember our Mother by and these were excellent having Roses on which Mum would have loved.
We followed the Hearse to the Crematorium and Donna was very professional and very respectful. 
The Humanist service was excellent and Michelle the Celebrant on both our Step dads and Mums funerals her Eulogies were very personal and sincere.
Both my wife and myself have reserved funerals with Co-op Funeralcare which is a true testament to their service.

Everything they did made a very difficult time a little bit more manageable. The lady they recommended to conduct the service, Gillian Taylor, was absolutely perfect. Would have no hesitation in recomending them to anyone.

I cannot praise the Co Op team at Acomb highly enough for the professional and sensitive service they provided as I arranged my Uncle's funeral which took place on January 6th. My cousin and I were arranging the funeral from a distance (Kent and Devon) but we felt completely reassured by the communication provided by the team and their swift response to any questions we had.
