Well, I never thought the day would arrive when my sister and I would need to arrange our mum's funeral.
We contacted Wilson, Willoughby & Wetherills Funeralcare in Northallerton and from that very first phone call they were exceptional.
Such warm, friendly people with compassion and empathy that made it a more bearable process to deal with.
They took care of everything and always kept in touch during the days leading up ensuring all went to plan.
The service itself was perfectly arranged, little touches made it special, how they dressed, respectfullness shown and, strangely, it is a day we will remember fondly..
it was a beautiful send off for our number 1 girl.
Faultless service, hopefully I'll not need them for a while though!

Geoff was great through out the lead up and the actual funeral.
The team on the day made it easier to say our final goodbye. They were very professional and kept us updated throughout.

The funeral director Sharon and all the team gave me the most incredible support when my partner John passed away. Sharon and her colleague came to the nursing home and they were gentle,kind and professional when they spoke to me and in their care of John. At the funeral home in Northallerton, the financial details were fully explained to me and expedited in a smooth and unhurried manner. The chapel of rest was a comforting and peaceful environment and Cloe and the other staff dressed John in a lovely manner,and I was heartened by the grace in which he was cared for. I was given solace and comfort in my bereavement, before and following John's cremation. I regard this funeral home to be of a very high standard indeed.

From the moment we entered the office and greeted by the receptionist we were put at ease. Jeff Featanby met us and discussed the funeral taking onboard our special requests. The funeral was planned and everything was put into place that we had requested. The family cannot thank them enough for the kindness and thought that the team gave that day.

Geoff, Sue, Kerry and the rest of the team were totally professional throughout making the arrangements for my Dad’s funeral, and on the day made sure everything ran very smoothly to give my Dad the goodbye the family had requested.
Everyone was friendly and relaxed and I was particularly impressed that at the arrangement meeting Geoff’s first words were “tell me about your Dad”, so he had a picture of his life and character to help him give us appropriate advice.

Every detail of my wife's funeral was looked after by W W & W.
All the arrangements were taken care of down to the beautiful Order of Service and the lovely flower decked coffin.
The service went smoothly and everyone said how lovely it was, and how Annette would have been so proud.

We have used Wilson Willoughby and Wetherill for my Father's, Mother-in-Law and now my Mother's funerals and have had an excellent and caring service from all members of staff. They spend time to go through all that is required so make what is a very distressing time run smoothly as they arrange the funeral completely and advise as to what is required. I cannot recommend the service highly enough.
