At a time in life when it isn't always easy to navigate the circumstances you need someone who understands your needs and can just take on the responsibility of organisation.
Well, Hetheringtons Normanby have just that ability.
From our first meeting through to the service,every need was catered for in a caring and sensitive manner.
The whole team there are a pleasure to meet and work with.
In the last three months I have two funerals and can honestly say that they made the journey a smooth one.
The care taken in allowing us to see our loved one was second to none.
Nothing was too much trouble be it big or small.
What a tremendous service they offer and long may it continue.

The services were excellent from the initial appointment all the way through to paying the bill. Respectful courteous considerate with a genuine sense of wanting to carry out our wishes exactly. I was planning my uncles funeral from a distance so relied on emails and phone calls. All the staff who helped were very professional and courteous. I was guided through the decision making process so that the funeral went as my uncle requested. Many thanks.

Absolutely brilliant people, they walked me through step by step from beginning to end. Every question I asked they answered, I felt silly asking some questions but they put me at ease. This was my first time organising a funeral and I thank the whole team for their support and help.

We were really dissapointed with the service provided when we lost dad on 12th oct 2022....we received 1 call from them asking about something and that was it until i complained ...my dad was kept in hospital for 10 days before he was realeased to be embalmed which took 5 days as they kept saying they where waiting for his coffin ...which wasnt true ...i complained to the manager and my dad was brought back to Normanby that day for us to go and visit .i have no idea what the delay was ...there was hardly any communication from.them and it was myself that was having to contact them which shouldnt happen when you are greiving ...then after all this we had to wait 4 weeks for dads buriel which has caused us extreme stress upset and anxiety ( they said there was no grave diggers ).but i know somebody else from.the same area who died and was buried in the same cemetry within 10 days ..whenever i phoned the office there was no answer and had to keep phoning back ...as the young man mathew was on his own most of the time and has now gone off with stress ...the place is being run with minimal staff ie 2 and abbey is always out doing funerals ...both my mam and dad booked and organised there funerals over 10 years ago and the service for dads wasnt good at all ......but cant fault mams in march 2021 ...we as a family are very dissapointed to say the least ...come on Hetheringtons sort it out ...you were the best in the area but not now ....from a very upset family ....

The staff at Co-op Funeral Care NORMANBY were amazing. I cannot thank them enough for the arrangements they made for my mum's funeral. They all helped me through a very difficult time with guidance they gave. So much respect was shown to my mum and myself and my family thank you.
