We were made to feel at ease at a difficult time and the choices/decisions that have to be made by the family were made seamless. We were always kept informed throughout.
Everyone involved were very professional and caring which started from the initial meeting through to the funeral itself and the days following.

The only negative is that Doris' middle name has constantly been spelled incorrectly in all correspondence (including this email.) This originated from the Coroners temporary death certificate but was pointed out at the beginning.

We called into Filey funeralcare a few weeks before my husband's death and were given some caring, thoughtful advise regarding an unattended funeral. I had no second thoughts as to who to approach when the time came. Everything has been handled with utmost care and respect. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to all your staff but particular praise should be given to Bev who provided information and maintained contact throughout which made a difficult time slightly easier. Everyone at Filey Funeralcare has been so helpful and supportive in arranging the funeral for our mum, Frances Gordon.
From the moment I rang to tell them that mum had died, to follow-up after the funeral, everything has been carried out discretely and respectfully.
My sisters and I are very grateful for such a wonderful service.
All of the staff acted with kindness and patience and helped us give mum the best possible send-off; better than we could have imagined.

From the First phone call to the Funeral itself every thing was handled perfectly.
Amy and Bev were both fantastic and helped me through the process of organising Johns Funeral. There advice, support, and understanding was much appreciated, helping me and my family through a difficult time
Rob the Funeral Director phoned me the day before the Funeral and took me through the next days events. The day of the Funeral everything went really well with Rob and his Team doing a first class job in giving John the send off he deserved

The services provided by Filey Funeral Care were excellent. No detail was left unattended and everything was carried out in a professional manner. My situation was made more complicated as I live 250 miles away from my father's last address. Filey Funeral Care clearly understood the situation and provided solutions wherever I had a lack of knowledge or procedure.
