Emmott & Bradley Funeral Services
Emmott & Bradley Funeral Services When Jackson's of Silsden became the owners of David Brook Funeral Services in the year 2000 , the directors were delighted with the acquisition and appointed Mr Robert Clark as Manager to work along side David, to learn from him and to ensure a smooth transition. Robert is responsible for the day to day running of Emmott & Bradley and has become well known in the local area.

Funerals are not the easiest things to review and make comments about, especially when reviewing the undertakers. I am seventy-three next and I have attended a lot of funerals in m ... y time, including the funerals of my two wives. My second wife, Janice, died on January the 16th 2025. Undertakers are usually either good or bad, but Emmot & Bradley were excellent. I have even instructed my daughter to use them when it is my time to shuffle off. Hopefully in the distant future. I was treated compassionately and with deep respect, especially by Andrew Bowness, who couldn’t do enough to help me. I chose a horse-drawn hearse as my wife was an RDA champion. It was a sight never to forget as the hearse slowly made its way down the main street of Skipton, me closely behind in my car. I was amazed and proud to see so many people stop and either cross themselves or tip their hats in respect. The service at Skipton Crematorium was also excellent, led by Revd. Canon Tony Walker. All in all, the quality of the service was brilliant, and I would recommend Emmot & Bradley to anyone. Chris Kerrigan more

About Us
In the period since the take over, the business name has been changed back to the original trading name of EMMOTT & BRADLEY FUNERAL SERVICES and the values that David Brook worked hard to maintain have been retained.
From its humble beginnings, Emmott & Bradley Funeral Services has grown to be one of the leading independent funeral services in the Airevalley and opened its new premises which includes a 30 seat service chapel at 18 Station Road, Cross Hills in 2013 .
