We arrived at Co-op Funeral Care to be told the whole service was at the Crematorium when it had already been specified that there was to be a service first at co-op for older people who were unable to travel to Holytown Crematorium. The Humanist had to be contacted as he had also been given the incorrect information from Co-op. All Guests had to wait over half an hour to start service / no music at all not even background very embarrissing and distressing for all especially family. Made service not what we had hoped for. Coffin was supposed to be cherry looked like cheep light ply board the fitting did not look secure and the flowers which we were charged £215 for looked as if they were wilting. We have always used the Co-Op for other family and will never use again.

I cannot thank all the staff enough but a special mention to Elaine McEwan who helped us tremendously with the arrangements of my Aunts Funeral. Elaine was a brilliant listener and had a heart of gold. After hearing and learning about my Aunt, the order of service that Elaine produced for us captured everything that my Aunt loved. To include, all her beloved dogs throughout the years and the little Robin that my Aunt fed by hand in her garden was an emotional tribute that was really special for all of us on the day. Elaine from the bottom of my heart and my family thank you for taking care of all of us from the start to the finish a real credit to Wishaw Funeral Care.
