The two Funeral Directors I dealt with - initially Neil Grant, then Ian Conway - could not have been more understanding, courteous, knowledgeable and respectful.

How do I even start to thank Iain and Coop Funeralcare for helping me give my dad the send off he deserved? Losing my dad this year, and so unexpectedly, has been one of the hardest things I've had to come to terms with and planning a funeral is something I never thought I'd be doing so soon.

Not knowing where to start, my Aunt suggested contacting Iain as he had dealt with the arrangements for other members of our family. He made me feel at ease and really took the time to get to know me and my dad, and explained what the next steps were. Over the next few weeks, we were in constant contact to finalise the details of the service for my dad and was able to put me in contact with a Celebrant who would be able to provide a personalised service, filled with heart felt memories and humour (which my dad would have loved). He also dealt with the flower arrangements and spoke to the Riverside Lodge on our behalf, so we could have post-service refreshments and drinks to remember my dad.

On the day, the service Iain and Coop Funeralcare provided (including cars etc.) was second to none. We knew what was happening ahead of time, and he and his staff also talked us through what was going on and where we needed to be to make sure everything went as it should have. I felt supported throughout the process from initial meetings and discussing arrangements to the funeral service for my dad, and the empathy I was shown helped me through this.

I can't thank Iain and the guys enough, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has recently lost someone. They will take care of you and they will give your loved one the send of they deserve. Thank you Iain and the Coop.

Having lost both our parents within 3 months of each other, my brother and I are grateful for the help, guidance and support given by Carol and Ian at the Co-Op Funeral Directors. They made the very difficult process of arranging 2 funerals much easier to cope with. Both days ran smoothly and Ian took great care of us each time.
