I turned to Thorpe St Andrew Funeralcare recommended by a close friend. My mother was on end-of-life care and I was extremely distressed and confused what to do next. The funeral care staff met me warmly and granted me with full attention, patient listening and kind advice on my further planning. After my mother passed away, I met the staff again and received compassion, reassurance and careful planning of her funeral. Additionally I was guided on the process of death registration. My deceased mother was treated with respect and dignity, her funeral was arranged on an affordable price. During the arrangement I had been receiving regular courtesy calls from the staff to assure my personal wellbeing. All this attention, friendliness and warmth made my stress and grief so much easier to bear. I am really thankful to Thorpe St Andrew Funeral care.

The service was excellent . Tony was always on hand to answer any questions and reassured the family when we came across any problems. He would always go that extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything . If I was having a bad day he would ring and ask how I was and that meant a lot . Throughout the whole process of dealing with my mum’s funeral, I have had an incredibly high level of support from both Tony Vella and Geoff Hayzelden. Excellent advice and guidance was given throughout the process which at the time was greatly appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble, we dealt with Tony. He was very professional and also offered advice on things we had not considered. I was able to pop in as and when i thought of things to do and needed help with, the whole process was very personal. Tony was caring and compassionate and that's what you need in such a difficult time.

The people I dealt with could not have been more helpful or sympathetic, without being overly "downbeat" on my behalf. Everything went very well, and being able to use GreenAcres as an alternative location was excellent - could not recommend it more highly. Arranging a limousine was easy, as was printing the order of service with the addition of my husband's picture on the cover. Arranged my own flowers with my local florist. I would recommend this company highly to anyone in need of a sympathetic funeral director; my own funeral plan will be taken out with them in due course.

The burial service was very well arranged and went smoothly. Tracy and the team ensured it was a special and dignified time and treated my family and me with respect and sympathy.

Tony at Thorpe St Andrew Funeral Care was amazing. He listened, gave us as much time as we needed and answered all the questions and concerns we had. He was kind and thoughtful throughout, he took time to really understood the type of service we wanted for our dad and he made sure it happened, including introducing us to a celebrant he thought would be able to support us (and he was right - she was perfect). He made an incredibly difficult time so much easier and I couldn't recommend him more highly.
