I would like to thank James and all the staff for the excellent care, courtesy and kindness to our family as we worked our way through the funeral arrangements for my Dad. From the first contact with the Thorpe St Andrew office a few days before Dad died, all the way through to collecting the final paperwork, the staff have all been brilliant. James gave us confidence that all would be well, as it was in practice. As important as the contact with us was the respect and care given to Dad while he was in the care of the staff. We were very impressed and thankful for that. The match with our celebrant worked really well too.

I cannot commend highly enough everything the Co-op funeral undertakers did for my late husband.  They were compassionate, gentle, patient and understanding of my vulnerability. The personnel were very dignified and composed throughout his funeral service.  They went above and beyond to help arrange the personal touches  that I wished for.  Thank you so very much. Many people attending asked which funeral directors I had used so I told them it was the Co-op.

Dealing with Tony at the Norwich Thorpe St Andrew Funeral home was probably one, if not the only, good thing about arranging a funeral in the first place. He. was. awesome!
We called, spoke about detail and attended visits at the funeral home where we were given a private room to literally sit in for hours and just chat. I dropped in completely unannounced on most occasions and Tony was nothing but accommodating. Offered tea on every visit, gave us leaflets and spoke in great detail about grief as a whole. I was struggling with understanding how grief is a real, physical thing and Tony made me feel like it was perfectly normal which I appreciated. I was probably one of the most annoying customers but Tony took it in his stride, made me laugh when I wanted to cry and gave me straight answers when I asked my countless questions over question over question. He's just an all round fab human being, and he treated Dad like he was still with us, and spoke with him when we arrived on our countless visits and it was just perfect.
James, the funeral director, was a cool dude, too. Loved the fact my dad's friends wanted to escort him with their motorbikes. And helped talk us through every step of the way - including how to carry the coffin which we all opted for because Dad would've loved it.
Both Tony and James need some sort of recognition for what they do!!!

From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel like part of the co-op family. Tony was exceptionally compassionate and understanding. He went above and beyond to make mothers funeral the best it could be, and it was. 
Mother couldn’t have been in better hands. 
My wife and I will be taking out funeral plans with them and only them. 
My sister and I cannot thank Tony enough and would recommend them highly.

Thorpe St Andrew funeral care were brilliant! Kind caring, professional and compassionate. Tony Vella was excellent, with every detail and aspect of helping us to arrange my mum’s funeral. Which went fully to plan on the day.  
If is a terribly sad and stressful time, when a parent passes away. But right from the beginning Tony was extremely professional and caring.
On the day of going to see mum in the chapel of rest, Tony knocked on the door and said Maureen you have visitors. I thought that was so lovely, respectfully.
