The staff at Peter Taylor were excellent, going beyond their care and duty. Everything was made easy from the organising of the service, the obituaries and even helped with finding a suitable venue for the wake.

The whole team was absolutely wonderful.
They looked after the arrangements very carefully, following all my requirements.
They handled everything with outstanding care. What I have appreciated the most was that they were very patient with me and showed a lot of compassion and understanding.
What turned out was a unique celebration, that my close friends and I are going to treasure forever.
Having the time to visit my mother every day at the chapel really made the difference. It gave me the necessary time to process the loss before the funeral.
This experience turned out to be very useful and an unexpected surprise, also because it helped me build many positive memories from this incredibly difficult period of my life.
The tribute webpage is another great way to keep good memories alive and organise get together in the future.

I found the service extremely good. I was dealt with in a sensitive yet efficient fashion. The range and quality of the services of offer was just right for my needs. The celebrant was very friendly and put me completely at ease. On the day of the funeral, some attendants said later that they struggled to hear properly, so perhaps some thought needs to be given to the volume control, level of projection and pace of the speakers, for the sake of people with impaired hearing. Note that this only applied to people attending in person. Feedback on the webcast was very good.

I found the lock of hair, which I had asked for, very tiny, and it should have been possible to cut a thicker one at no extra effort.

Other than these couple of issues, I have been extremely pleased and will recommend Funeral Care if given the opportunity.

The team at Peter Taylor were first class. The lovely Jo handled everything for us with compassion and professionalism. She helped us to understand the process entirely and guided through every one of those steps. No request was ever too much trouble and we felt Mum was in very safe hands. The exceptional planning meant that we had a beautiful funeral and that meant that all of the needs of our family were met. The staff on the day could not have been better (and also for the crematorium service the following day), it all ran so smoothly, meaning that we could really focus on saying our good-byes and not worrying about anything else. Thank you so much, it’s very much appreciated.
