Everyone at Gordon Rooney were extremely helpful and caring when we were arranging the funeral of our Father, Frank, from our first meetings with Louise and Stuart to the funeral itself and the lady there who made it run so smoothly. It went exactly as we wanted it and a fitting tribute to Dad. Thank you to everyone.

Having had no experience in dealing with funerals, I found Gordon Rooney to be absolutely brilliant. They were there when I needed them and nothing was too much trouble for them. They carried out their duties with expert professionalism, answering every question I had immediately and with utmost respect.

I have never had to deal with a funeral before but Louise was so good and kind telling me what my sister and I had to do especially when we had troubles getting an appointment with the Registrar and when the doctor put the wrong date of death she was marvelous

Staff were kind courteous but errors were made in processing basic information given by me. Everything to do with the funeral itself was faultless and the staff were very professional and always responded quickly.


Trying to pay on line to Head Office was impossible so Rooney's kindly did the transaction over the phone. I also felt that the charges were excessive given or because we had provided our own coffin. There was no flexibility, it was the package or a higher price.
