Barker family funeral care were outstanding right from the start,answering the telephone at 4.30 am was not what we were expecting! They were very accommodating right from the first meeting everything was professional and all our questions and requirements dealt with in a caring and understanding manner. All aspects were clearly explained and we had the personal family service that our dear mum would have wanted.

I cannot recommend Barker Family Funeral Services enough. I wish I had found them earlier!
Being such a small firm you get a very individual and personal service and they are completely flexible to accommodate even seemingly unusual wishes and ideas. The time and care and empathy they give out to others is incredible, and much appreciated. I feel very lucky to have found them.

Craig & Belynda we’re so kind, patient and understanding when I arranged my father’s funeral with them.

Nothing was too much trouble and they helped me and my family enormously.

I am so pleased that I chose Barker Family Funeral Services to take care of my husband when he passed away on the 22nd of December 2020. Belynda and Craig have been so helpful and supportive throughout and we all felt my husband was looked after very   Respectfully and compassionately. It also has been really good to have a remembrance site to post photos and messages on giving me and my son and daughter great comfort.

They are what they say a true family funeral service. Any query we had they always had or found out the answer.  Also where possible any special requests like driving a long way round to the crem to drive past an old family home. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Having to plan my husbands funeral, so young scared me. Barkers not only put me at ease, but I feel like i've made amazing friends. They completely went out of their way to grant my wishes and did everything they could to make the process as calm as possible, because of them my husband had the exact funeral I wanted for him. I will be forever in their debt for what they have done for me and my husband.

Craig and Belynda have been kind, helpful and undertstanding throughout the process of caring for my mother after her death. They talked me through what would happen and the cost and were always at the end of the phone if I needed clarification. Whatever type of funeral you want, at whatever cost, they are ready to help.
