I cannot recommend them highly enough. Navigating the funeral arrangements for a parent is difficult and emotional but with the help from Charmaine and her colleagues we did this even with some joy! Rosedale Funeral Home is an independent family funeral directors, in Diss Norfolk.
Established in 2004 and managed by husband and wife team Simon and Anne Beckett-Allen. Rosedale Funeral Home is renowned for producing a fitting tribute for your loved one, ensuring a high quality service and the best bereavement support during this difficult time.
Anne is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a registered member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, a qualified NAFD tutor and a trustee of the charity Nelson’s Journey.
Both Simon and Anne conduct funerals alongside their full time, fully qualified team. Funeral Directors Richard, Christian and Charmaine bring a wealth of experience to Rosedale Funeral Home, with over 50 years of combined funeral experience.
Rosedale have a flexible approach to funeral arrangements and are able to offer a face to face arrangement at the office in their beautifully presented but practical arrangement rooms, in the
comfort of your own home or by telephone, Zoom or Skype.
Parking is available for visitors directly behind the funeral home and a separate disabled entrance is also available should it be required. Rosedale’s chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one is available on the ground floor.
Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. At Rosedale, the team believes that providing the very best of bereavement care goes hand in hand with helping you arrange a funeral for your loved one.

Ivy's death was sudden and unexpected. We were totally unprepared and it coincided with the Easter weekend when all agencies etc shut down until the following Tuesday. This was the context for our funeral experience. Charmaine was our point of contact with Rosedale and the service she provided was excellent. Everything she did was done with sensitivity,charm,respect,positivity and sympathy. Charmaine was our guide and provider through the whole funeral experience and we came to regard her as a friend. She was always available to talk to,always ready to listen and always prepared to suggest ways to move forward. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Ivy's actual funeral was managed from start to finish with great professionalism, sensitivity and understanding. The funeral was a unique reflection of everything that was best about Ivy. Thankyou Charmaine. The Rosedale booklet was also very useful; full of detail,ideas,addresses and ways to proceed. It covered everything from arranging the funeral, registering the death, Tell Us Once,dealing with probate and arranging the Wake. A very comprehensive and utterly indispensable booklet.

Christian showed great professionalism and understanding during a very difficult time. He was able to guide us through all the aspects of my mums cremation with tact and empathy. He was able to give valuable advice and guidance when required and made the whole experience, informed, unhurried and easy to negotiate. He was always professional and kept us regularly updated.

Malcolm's funeral day on 12th February 2024 was beautiful and memorable, everything went smoothly as planned.
On the day of Malcolm's passing up to the day of the funeral, Charmaine has guided and worked closely with me and others involved to planned the funeral. She is compassionate, gracious, efficient, accommodating, going the extra mile, and yet professional. We could not ask for more.

Richard and his team are absolutely amazing! Making decisions for a loved one’s funeral is one of the hardest things to do , but Richard just takes all the difficult things on board and nothing is literally too much trouble!
