The tragic loss of my husband left me devastated. The Heswall team Tony, Terry and the two Claires couldn’t have been more  sympathetic, understanding and supportive whilst all the time being very professional. 
Everything about the funeral ran so smoothly I was able to grieve for my husband without any pressure or worries. 
My husband had prepaid for his funeral and I asked Terry if I could arrange my own funeral with them. Terry advised me that unfortunately, their branch ( that team) can no longer do that.  I  am so disappointed!  
Whoever has decided this change has made a huge mistake. It could even make me look elsewhere for my own funeral plan. 
Once more I can only praise the Heswall team and thank them from the bottom of my heart.

The staff were caring, considerate, conscientious and professional. They gave my Uncle the funeral  he would have wanted. They listened to our requirements and did not try and ‘up sell’ and were very honest and open with us. Terry kept in touch and helped through the process from start to finish. 
Prior to the funeral date I was contacted by the ‘head’ undertaker, Claire, to ensure we had everything we asked for in place.
The day went perfectly, as planned with no issues. We are very happy with the service the COOP gave us, highly recommended

There were a few hiccups along the way which were certainly not the fault of the most amazing team at the Co-op, FD Claire, Terry and Claire. Terry particularly went the extra mile to solve some administrative issues around Mum’s ashes. I had to arrange everything from 300 miles away and I cannot fault the kindness and generosity of time from all 3 of the team, from Clare’s initial warm friendly welcome and arranging Mum’s funeral to Terrys containing sensitive help and knowledge with admin issues and seeing us to explain all before we left on a 300 Mike journey home,  and the final curtesy calls from FD Claire and her lovely reassuring presence on the day itself.  Absolutely a first class team who really care about what they do. Thank you so much to all the  Heswall team. We could not have got through all of this without you. Kindest of regards to you all. Beverley and Father George Butler. 🦋🦋🦋
