The service that we received from Owens was incredibly helpful and respectful at a very difficult time for our family. From my first conversation with Alex she was so supportive and able to immediately give us advice on the practical arrangements and take on much of the burden of this. Alex was always available to talk through our wishes and on the day of the funeral everything went very smoothly which was testament to all of her hard work. We would not hesitate to recommend Owens and are very grateful for all of their help.

I have worked in the funeral profession and chose Owens because of the respect and dignity shown when the gentlemen came to collect my dad for the coroner. Everyone we met at the funeral home was friendly and welcoming. Alex explained everything and guided me through the whole process. The celebrant she chose was just right for us. The actual funeral was a perfect tribute to my dad. Everything was smoothly and efficiently carried out. Alex looked great, and very professional. The gentlemen bearers were smart and respectful, and quietly did their job to a high standard. The funeral was just how we wanted it.

Everyone we met was lovely 😍 professional, caring and read our needs completely .
Removal of our loved one was made slightly easier when we saw that they had made the bed and left a white rose on the pillow ❤

At a point in one’s life where nothing makes sense & you’re reeling from the reality of your unbearable loss, you’re suddenly enveloped by this ‘comfort-shield’ that is OWENS.
Warmth, compassion, dignity, calm, competent, patient, understanding, thoughtful professional, effortless care. I will never be able to find enough superlatives to describe them but I know I’ll be eternally grateful to them for guiding me gently through the most traumatic & painful experience of my life.

We went for a direct cremation with no attendance so theoretically nobody from the family overseeing things.
On the day I decided to go and see the coffin arrive just stood on the street. Sure enough they arrived on time, coffin well presented with arrangement on top and staff well presented too.
In short I can recommend Owens highly.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. They honestly turned one of the worst possible scenarios a parent can face into a beautiful situation. Couldn't recommend Owens enough to anyone.

We are so happy we picked owens funeral directors for my dad
They were so helpful professional, but most of all caring and that was what my mum needed after loosing her husband of 63 years
They explained everything in detail and what we had to do as a family
They were at the other end of the phone 24-7 if you needed them and that is what you need when you loose a loved one
I would recommend them to anyone as they made my dad's final journey special for him and to us as a family

Great service.
Alex in particular was a great help and very tolerant of a funeral which was organised by four sisters and therefore four voices.
