A funeral is a very upsetting and stressful event, the team at Porters were so kind, considerate and supportive during the whole process. Due to a slight delay in our particular process Ray rang on a few occasions to ensure that we were coping ok and if they could do anything! I know this is their job but you can see that they want to make a difference and remove as much unnecessary stress as possible. They all are amazing!

From the moment they took Katherine into there care till the day of her Funeral they were there with us every step of the way we can not thank them enough for there help and support especially Hannah and Ray once again thank you so much for all your kindness and support.

I've been unfortunate in that I have had to use the services of Porters 2yrs running. On both occasions Kayliegh was a godsend, taking care of almost every aspect and I cannot rate her highly enough,she made what was an emotional time so much easier to deal with and I can't thank her enough, would give 10 stars if possible.

This is my third funeral with porters since November they looked after my husband mum and dad with care and compassion and showed respect to the family.Porters is a lovely run funeralcare business.

Porters Funeralcare managed my brother's funeral. Alex, the funeral director at Porters, was very caring and helpful in the support he provided to me and my sister at all stages of the process. He listened to what we wanted, took time to understand who our brother was, kept us updated at all times and provided appropriate guidance and advice. He took time to understand my brothers faith and belief to have awareness of what was appropriate or not during the funeral care and service. He liaised with the elder conducting the service to ensure everything was right in line with what my sister and I wanted and with respect to my brother's faith.

Arrangements were made for us to visit the Chapel of Rest prior to the funeral date. Kayleigh, offered kind support. I highlighted that the message on the coffin plaque was incorrect (which they had noted and were in the process of correcting); during the time I was sat with my brother a new coffin plate arrived with the correct message.

On the day of the funeral, I asked for a particular route from the chapel of rest to the place of service and to the crematorium. Alex gave consideration to what we asked and the journey to my brother's final resting place was perfect. In all aspects of my brother's final care and journey, Porters provided sensitivity and dignity to my brother and to his family and friends.

I highly recommend Porters Funeralcare. Alex went out of his way to ensure everything was right in accordance to our wishes, including collecting the flowers from the friend who created the floral tribute on the morning of the funeral. It was a beautiful send off which helped us at a very difficult time.
