We are very happy with all the support and all the care that was given to my dad and us as a family but I was upset on the day of his funeral as the timing wasn’t good I do think that the Priest and the funeral director need to communicate once everything has been sorted to make sure that the timings were correct as there is some people that didn’t get To  the graveside as we were there too early. Once funeral in the church is over we were outside which Felt  like a lifetime  it was probably 15 minutes

When our Dad passed away we decided to go to the coop funeral service Argyle Street Birkenhead.

The care we received from Barry and the team was so lovely. They had a balance of professionalism and genuine support for our family during our time with them. Thank you all for everything you all did, it really meant a lot to us.

So very kind and caring and made everything so easy and stress-free for me by making all the arrangements for my brother's funeral go so smoothly. On the day, Dave was so kind and looked after us with great compassion and caring. There are not enough words to say how grateful we are to everyone and thank you for everything. I was very satisfied with the service provided by Co-op Funeral Care. Their representatives explained everything clearly - the cost of the various packages, the additional expenses arising from medical fees, the cremation and the optional minister. On the day, Co-op Funeralcare discharged their duties with a high degree of professionalism. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

As a family we had no experience of organising a funeral or funeral directors. The Co-op was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. From the first telephone call we received a professional friendly service from Barry and his team.  Nothing was a problem. I would use two words to describe the service we received‘Exceeded Expectations’. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Handled everything perfect, felt like we were amongst friends, the team in argyle street were Lovley to the family, Daniel looked amazing, just the phone calls to check in on us was very appreciated. Overall very happy with everythin. Thank you

Funeral directors did everything they said. However there was a slight issue with coffin that I brought up afterwards. Was advised they didn’t know who tried to fix it. But no apology . 
Celebrant I felt left it very late to visit myself and my partners family especially as it was booked for 6 weeks before. We didn’t get the service details and order from Carol until the morning before, which it left it very late to get service sheets made. Also was never given wording that family were going to say. 
It was forecast for a storm the day of the funeral and it was suggested to Carol that the last and most important song be played in the chapel because of this , but she still insisted it played at the graveside played on her iPad. However even if there was not a storm you would not have heard the music . It was then finished with 2 very short verses to go, the last being the most important of the whole funeral. The service was however lovely except for that.
Friends at the funeral were told they could wait in the chapel whilst immediate family went to graveside because of the weather. However upon our return to chapel no one was there, I have been advised that people were told they could go now, whilst we were at the graveside. Mayfields say it wasn’t them and so do the co op. 

However 1 more thing I found a little upsetting with the celebrant was when she came to mine on 14th she was telling me , that she had to go and see my partners family on the 16th and what she had to cancel to do it, which if I remember was a night out. Certainly her nights out and nieces birthday were mentioned . She also advised me after the funeral , when I invited her back to the celebration of my partners life in the pub, that she was going to another appointment and whom (no name, but age ) she was going to discuss the arrangements for. I have to say this did upset me.
