From start to finish I received excellent, compassionate and practical support at a very difficult time. The level of contact and my ability to reach them was first class, and my contact Lynne could not have been bettered. The day itself went smoothly and enabled us as a family to grieve, knowing that we were in the safest of hands.

Co-op Funeralcare Walthamstow are a very special group of people.  I had never organised a funeral before and from the moment I came in to start making arrangements for my beloved mum, Lynne and the incredible team handled everything with such care, sensitivity and phenomenal attention to detail.  

Everything was so highly organised and prepared well in advance which took a lot of the stress and worry away as we knew we were in safe and highly accomplished hands.

The day of the funeral was therefore one which was filled with love and celebration of our dear mum.  All of our family and friends were highly complimentary of the team and we were all looked after and cared for beautifully too by Sheryl, Jo and all of the wonderful pall bearers.  They also took extra care of my brother who has Autism and had the most wonderful way of making him feel better and helping him to cope with everything too.  I am so grateful for that. 

My family and I cannot thank the team enough.  Their love, care and deep respect from start to finish was tangible and it meant so very much to us all. 

At what can be such a traumatic time, I more than highly recommend that you contact Lynne and the team at Co-op Funeralcare Walthamstow as they are all truly phenomenal human beings and take care of everything so very lovingly and professionally.

The communication by COOP was poorly coordinated between them and the mortuary. It took a several days for my son to be collected and placed in the Chapel of rest. In order to do this I had to continuously phone the mortuary and coop to get this organised. This was an added stress on top of burying my son.

There was also miscommunication with how my son was to appear. It was requested that he not be shaved, when I went to visit him, he was fully shaved which was a shock. Along with a delay in getting him embalmed.

Despite this the funeral on the 29th July was amazing. The funeral director Craig Liddiard and his team were professional, patient, polite and compassionate the whole day.

From the start of this process Lynne and the team at coop funeralcare have been supportive, professional and the best choice for us to honour the person we loved. The planning of their service was detailed and we were able to personalise the day in a way that was special to us. The funeral itself went as well as a hard day could go. We were looked after from beginning to end and everything went so smoothly on the day. We were able to focus on giving our loved one the send off they deserve and saying goodbye. Thank you again for the amazing service and your comfort and kind words at this life changing stage in our lives.

From start to finish I felt that the team at Co op funeral service Hoe Street treated me with consideration . They made me feel this was the only funeral service with them listening and acting on my requests for the funeral. I cannot fault them with the service and support they provided .

Pre paid service by my mother, generally very good especially the actual funeral director and the service on the day. Just a few minor issues which appear to be due to a lack of staff. Overall we were pleased with it all

I found the staff at the Walthamstow co-op extremely helpful, kind and understanding. They went out if their way to accommodate the disabled people in our group. They were professional on the day and it went smoothly.

I would highly recommend this Coop service, the package prices were reasonable and flexible. The lovely ladies who managed everything worked great as a team and gave the same standard of warm, friendly and considerate service everytime. They were patient and willing to meet and accommodate everything required for the funeral to go smoothly, which it did. They were full of useful tips and advice.
Despite it being a sad occasion I couldn't ask for a better experience. I was really pleased with the service and customer care.
