My father's name was Hopeton NEIL Ramdeen, which I continued to ask to be corrected after the initial interview.
It is fine details like these that distracts from the scoring in this review.
All those involved in the process were excellent, accommodating and approachable. I was advised from the beginning that I should question everything and ensure I get my moneys worth. What I would say is that in order for the whole process to be kept on track that the directors themselves should give full and early prompts and advise to steer the process in the right direction and not rely on the client to do the chasing. I had not organised a funeral before and was reliant via email/ and by visiting the local office frequently on their professional advice, not just the paperwork issued.
For example the programme/ order of service was last minute because of a delay in the detail collecting process and the lack of information on what goes INSIDE the advertised design programme booklet included in the stationary.

The funeral itself was excellent.
There were a few hiccups beforehand mainly due to staff being sick at Chingford. The Staff at Highams Park helped as much as they could. There were some mix ups in communication re: music etc. There were some typos on the order of service, unfortunately it was too late to rectify them on the day of the funeral when they were delivered. Possibly we should have been more careful to proof read the example sent to us. But the actually service was great.
