Standard Simple Funeral

Service includes:

Attendance of Personal and Professional trained staff to receive funeral instructions and attend to all related administration and statutory documentation, including liaising with third parties (cemetery, crematorium, minister, celebrant etc), dealing with all enquiries and maintaining contact throughout (£2,290)
Transfer of the deceased into our care during working hours (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm) and within a ten miles radius of any of our branches (included)
The deceased will be hygienically treated, washed and dressed in a gown or clothing supplied by the customer, and placed in a climate controlled environment (included)
One day’s viewing in a private chapel of rest (included)
The funeral service to take place Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm, with the exception of public holidays (included)
The funeral will be completed within a three hour period from the time the cortege leaves the branch to the time it leaves the cemetery or crematorium. This does not include time for a service in church (included)
Provision of a suitable coffin from £420

Excellent service from start to finish !! Shirley and the team took the weight off our shoulders, advised us with things we were unsure off. And on the day of my husband Tony Houghton funeral, they couldnt help us enough. I'm afraid everything was very much a blur so don't remember all the names of the team, but our driver was brilliant joining in with the banter we were having in the car, and helping make a sad occasion a little happier just like our Tony wouldve. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you done for us. Oh and I think the horses won the bet !! Pam Kirstie Barry Ariana Martin and not forgetting little Sasha xx

About Us

Based in Brandon Street, South East London, the Walworth office was established in 2012 and managed by funeral director Shirley O’Callaghan.

You can meet Shirley to get assistance on your funeral enquiries Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.The company operates a 24 hour on call response outside normal working hours.

F.A. Albin Walworth services include burials, cremations, exhumations and repatriations, as well as will writing, memorials, photography, floral tributes and prearranged funerals.

The branch serves all of South East London and offers three chapels of rest, an arranging office and a reception area.

If you wish to inter the ashes of your loved one, we also have a memorial garden with boulder and wall plaques, as well as vase plaques where flowers can be placed.

F. A. Albin & Son continue to follow the 200-year old family tradition of assisting families going through bereavement.

Albins are the most professional but considerate funeral directors who go that extra mile to make sure the family are looked after and comfortable. At the most awful time for any family Albins make it a little bit easier and lead you through every step with empathy and compassion. Excellent service all round.
