Speaking on behalf of my whole family but particularly my sister Jane and myself I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment and service we received.

From the second we were met by Delores at the door we both knew we were in very safe and capable hands. Delores has the right mix of kindness, efficiency and good humour which carried on right through to the team who looked after us on the actual day of Dad’s funeral. Everyone involved made the whole experience seem very easy and straightforward. Can’t thank you enough.

Delores was very helpful and friendly.
However the crematorium was difficult to get to both by car and public transport and it was 9 days before the ashes became available. And then they had to be collected from the crematorium office.

From start to finish I found the Service of the Coop absolutely appalling. When I first contacted them I was given incorrect information, it took ages to collect my mum from the hospital, then she was miles away from where she was meant to be so no one could visit her until the eve of her funeral. And even when I saw her I felt sick, as she was Embalmed but didn’t look right. Yes i know she wouldn’t look the same but not like that. I ordered memorial cards that came completely different from what I thought I was going to get, and no envelopes to put them in. The day of the funeral was really nice, and Sam who was in charge of the day did an incredible job. I’d also like to thank Delores who is a lovely lady to deal with. But I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Marc was patient, calm and kind throughout the whole painful period. The attention to detail and consideration of the family's emotional needs was excellent. Each member of the Team were respectful and patient throughout.
The celebrant Tamara was outstanding and truly represented our father's story beautifully.
Our experience of East Dulwich Funeralcare services was like finding shelter when surrounded by storms. They provided professional, yet personal care which they delivered with aplomb!
