I cannot speak highly enough of Edward Brunskill. From the beginning he was professional and took all the stress of my mums funeral away from me and my family. He visited us at home to discuss our preferences and guided us on the celebrant we used, Martin Shaw, who was also perfect. He organised flowers which were beautiful and was always at the end of the phone if I had a question.
I would definitely recommend him and his associates

A great professional independent company, after my Father passed away suddenly Ed & Julie (celebrant) both visited my Mother at home where she was made to feel at ease. Everything was arranged from home until the day of the funeral. Ed arrived on the morning & everything was carried out as asked even small detailed items. My Mother said it was perfect and had requested we use
Edward Brunskills Services again for herself.

I would highly recommend Ed and his team, he took all the stress away at our time of grief after our Mum passed away. He was attentive, kind and the whole experience which was hard was made so much better because of Ed. My Mum's send-off was what we wanted and the day was made so special because of the attention to detail provided by this company. I will be forever grateful to Ed and the team.

I highly recommend Brunskill Family Funerals. From beginning to end they offered support and guidance. They have the perfect balance of professionalism and care. After my dad died it was so daunting, I have never planned a funeral before. He was an old rock n roller at heart and wanted his own songs played at the funeral. Ed managed to source them and had them ready and waiting at the crematorium to play. My dads favourite flowers were daffodils, not something that is easy to sourced in November! Again, Ed managed to find a florist who produced a beautiful arrangement for on top of his coffin. They truly go above and beyond the call of duty, I can't begin to thank them enough.

From the 1st contact with Ed I felt that I wouldn't need to worry.
I knew that I could trust him to take care of my sister's funeral. Ed was always in touch and everything went well - very professional.
After the funeral he kept in touch, which I found very kind of him.

Ed from Brunskill family funerals organised the funeral for Stuart Dodds, a much loved dad of Sarah, Laura, Jemma, Eric and close friend of Hazel and Pam, Ed and his team were fantastic, he conversed with family members from Newcastle and London, he was so very helpful, compassionate and professional at all times.
Ed especially made you feel comforted and helped us through every single stage, it felt like he was holding our hands and feeling our pain, even after the funeral he checked on family members and enquired about how they were feeling.

With the help of Ed & Family, we had the perfect final chapter to our Grandads story. Even with their professionalism, they had a sense of empathy which had us at ease, making our hardest decisions easier. The communication could not have been better from start to finish. Ed couldn't have been more supportive and considerate during the planning and delivery of my mother's funeral. He went out of his way to meet us at a place convenient for us, helped us to make arrangements quickly, and faultlessly and discreetly managed events on the day. Most of all, his kindness and thoughtfulness in the circumstances made a difficult time easier to bear.

My father passed away recently in Surbiton, and even though I was organising the funeral from Dubai, Ed has been an amazing support throughout the whole process. Visiting my very elderly mum on several occasions he always showed her the utmost patience and was so kind and respectful to her - especially on the day of the funeral. He has the perfect balance of being totally professional but also kind and approachable - I feel I have made a friend. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.   I think an undertaker’s role when someone you love has passed away is crucial in those first few days and weeks - and Ed’s calm and organised manner meant I could focus on supporting my mum and grieving myself, knowing that I could trust Ed to take care of all the practical arrangements and that he would keep me up to date on everything.

Brunskill Family Funerals provided a thoroughly professional service with great attention to detail and a very caring personal touch throughout. They listened carefully to what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Everything on the day of my mother's funeral went very smoothly, and my father and all the family could focus on celebrating my mother's life rather than worrying about the arrangements, as we knew they had them all under control.

Everything was carried out wonderfully. They showed great compassion,care and respect for the family members and my mother. They took great care with the smallest details including incorporating the music we selected, flower arrangements and everything else. Edward was very polite, understanding and considerate of the Sikh culture and was always there for any help and advice that we needed.
