Ed made everything as easy for us as he could under the circumstances, keeping us updated and showing compassion & understanding. They were extremely thorough & professional and the service was beautiful.

We are truly thankful for Ed and his team’s efforts to provide the best send off for Mum as possible under the COVID restrictions. From the moment Mum was placed in their care, we had nothing but the highest order of service, conducted with genuine care and compassion. Everything was perfect, from the flowers to the service itself, we cannot recommend them more highly.

Brunskill family funerals were absolutely wonderful in organising my Grandmother’s funeral recently. I honestly can’t recommend Ed and his team enough.  Funerals are a challenge at the best of times but Ed made the entire arrangements from start to finish absolutely seamless, nothing was too much trouble.  There is no question that we will use Brunskills for our funeral arrangements when the time comes in the future - thank you so much for looking after our family so well and to all your team who were professional, compassionate and understanding.

We cannot recommend Brunskill Family Funerals enough; their compassion and professionalism are outstanding. Ed recently helped us through the loss of my Fiancé’s father. Being only 26, planning a funeral was not something we expected to be doing and we were completely lost. From the very first phone call, Ed was so caring, calm and always made time to help us with anything we needed. He took care of everything, making things as straightforward as possible for us and helped us to give Mike the best send off we possibly could given our financial situation, never once being pushy or trying to up-sell. I really cannot put into words how grateful I am to Ed and the team at Brunskill Family Funerals. Right from the start, Ed was just amazing and so compassionate. He took care of all the arrangements and provided some useful information for the funeral such as ideas for poems, readings, music and also humanist recommendations. The funeral service itself was just so beautiful and moving. I cannot thank Ed enough. They are true professionals and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend.

After contacting Ed with news of Mum's passing the service we received was excellent. All questions we had were answered very quickly, we were guided through the process on actions to be taken with some Ed dealing with on our behalf. Given the current situation we couldn't meet but Ed arranged 2-3 Zoom meetings where his expert advice was given. The whole family were very pleased with the attention received to include the funeral service around the grave. I would highly recommend Ed and his sons.

Brunskill Family Funeral has recently helped me arrange my father’s funeral.
The service provided was excellent in the current situation and health crisis, and the costs is very reasonable. Brunskill Family did their upmost best to help us throughout the whole process. Mr.Edward Brunskill was very considerate and understood our emotions and how difficult this time was for our family and took step to ensure my father get the best farewell on the day of the funeral.

I would highly recommend Ed.

We found Ed on this site after a bad experience with a funeral director in the area a few years ago when my Dad died.

We live nearly 200 miles away, and for family reasons couldn't get down to make the arrangements. Ed was wonderful, he gave us all the options, but no pressure to spend more than we wanted, or to do anything in a particular way. He was calmly supportive all through.

In the end we had the perfect send off for Mum.

Thanks Ed, you have restored my faith in your profession.

Brunskill Family Funerals made the whole process of organising my Mother’s funeral easy. I had never had to organise a funeral before and felt totally out of my depth at what was a very emotional time for me, but Ed and his team provided a very professional and caring service, leading me through everything that had to be done with understanding, care and professionalism, nothing was to much trouble for them.
My Mother’s funeral was perfect and I can’t thank them enough.

From our first telephone conversation Edward Brunskill was sympathetic, caring and professional. He took away the stress of arranging our precious Mum’s funeral. He came to the house to discuss our preferences and guided us through every aspect of the funeral. He organised flowers, which were beautiful and was always at the end of the phone, text or e mail if we had any questions. He came to the house to pick up forms and to give us our Mum’s wedding ring. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you for everything Ed!
