Only problem we had was it not being open on a Saturday which makes it hard when people work and live far away.They did get someone to open but was only for 1half hours.so feel this is something they could improve on .

From the minute we walked in to the Mitcham branch and met Zoe through to Dad's actual funeral with Richard in charge we had total faith and comfort that we were in excellent hands. Every aspect of the funeral was superbly handled, we would have no hesitation in recommending your service to others and can't thank the Mitcham branch enough for their support.

The member of staff that dealt with myself and my children was  very caring member of staff. She was extremely supportive and understanding of our situation. She was very helpful and very respectful to us all. The men who took us to the funeral were also very respectful and understanding to us all.

I have given a 4 star rating for the Coop funeralcare but would give Darren, the funeral Director who helped me a 10 star rating if I could. Darren was so helpful right from the our first phone call following my husband passing away. Darren was very supportive, sympathetic and suggested some lovely details which made my husbands funeral very personal. Unfortunately Darren couldn't lead my husbands funeral but he did an amazing handover to another funeral director, Sebastian, who I would also give a 10 star rating to. All the details and arrangements were there on the day and all the funeral staff were absolutely amazing. The reason I gave the Coop a 4 star rating is because it was difficult arranging where to meet Darren for our first meeting as my local branch isn't 'staffed' so Darren had to open the branch just for me. Not having the branch staffed also could have been a problem for having flowers and the coffin tribute delivered but again Darren arranged for us to be able to deliver the flowers on the day of the funeral to my lical branch. I did however have to take the clothes that I wanted my husband dressed in to the branch in Balham which wasn't the ideal thing to have to do. Jo at the Balham branch was extremely helpful.
I was very surprised that branches of the Coop funeralcare weren't staffed, my assumption was that all funeral directors would be staffed.
Overall Darren, Sebastian, Jo and everyone who were involved in my husbands funeral were absolutely amazing and I can't thank them enough.
