I was impressed with the way my Dads body was respected during his time at Woowich before the funeral and most importantly, during the possession. The Funeral Director Caroline was considerate of our culture and values. To top it off, Frelanced Revened John was the best. Apart from a blip early on about the timing of an appointment, I can't praise the service highly enough.


Our first appointment was with Shannon who was very pleasant and made talking through the arrangements easier and more comfortable than I could have imagined at such a distressing time. On subsequent occasions we dealt with Laura who was invariably efficient, helpful and pleasant.
Everything was perfect and professional on the day; the celebrant Teresa's eulogy was judged brilliant by all, the funeral director Jake and his team made sure that everything went smoothly, the flowers were a delight.

Having had occasion to use the Co-op Funeralcare service before, I was right to be confident that I was placing the arrangements for Tony's funeral in such good hands. Thank you, Co-op!

I have nothing but praise for Laura and the team at Co-operative Funeral services Brockley. From the start she was professsional but warm and kind, very helpful, explained processes and terminologies in a clear and succint way. The day of the funeral went very well, and her efforts went along way towards that. Also, the professionalism and attention to detail shown by Mark and his team (of drivers/attendants) on the actual day of the funeral was exemplary; again, the day went well because of their committment to providing the best customer service possible in emotionally trying times. I thank all at Co-op Funeral services Brockley, and wish them a happy Xmas and New Year.

The care and attention we received from Laura was exemplary and, on the day, Carolyn was just brilliant. The attention to detail was so much appreciated. It all comes down to people in the end and sadly there were phone calls with other members of your staff that fell well below what I would have considered acceptable standard. I cut short those calls and waited until Laura was back in the office. At the very least more staff training is needed - not just with telephone manner but greater understanding of the logistics of arranging a funeral. Laura and Carolyn were outstanding in delivering thoughtful service.

up to now everything that has been dealt with the response,appointments,help and information has been excellent..I know the cremation has occurred and expect to receive the ashes of my deceased neighbour and friend Ms E/Linda Manwaring .I've had many back-up phone calls for support and know my details concerning this have been shared to other supportive systems and facilities...this is helpful and very kind...all in all so far up to now prompt and caring...

My Mothers funeral day was beautifully curated - I couldn't have asked for a better day - I also loved the flowers and the order of service booklet - and despite it being such a long journey to the burial ground and all the way back across London to the restaurant, everything went to time and without any stress.

There were a few essential errors during some stages of the preparations for the funeral- fortunately they were spotted on time & able to be sorted out.

The  end result, that of the day itself, was the crucial element, and that went extremely well.

Kind, caring staff in the Brockley office, but being short-staffed did mean I had to deal with 4 or 5 different people throughout the preparations between my sister's unexpected death on 14th December and her funeral on Monday 20th February.

On the day of the funeral, John was excellent, officiating traditionally yet in a warm, friendly way that I really appreciated.
