Excellent services from Helen and Charly. Rating would have been 5 stars if the Funeralcare has air conditioner. It was quite humid weather, despite Charly and Helen tried best to cool the place, it couldn't be made just comfortably cool really. Many thanks to both of them!

Overall Coop Funeralcare (Kingston) did a good job, but there were some administrative hiccups and one in particular caused me a great deal of stress just moments before our funeral service was due to begin. There was confusion over exactly how much time we had and when the clock started ticking. I don't know if this arose from Putney Vale Crematorium or from Coop, or some miscommunication between them, but it wasn't pleasant. The response from Coop's manager for South London Region was unsympathetic, defensive, and careless so I wrote again. No response has been received after over a week. Consequently, I have no confidence that the issue has been sorted out for families in the future.

If you are thinking of booking Putney Vale via Coop Funeralcare (Kingston) then I advise getting a very clear statement of exactly what time you will have access to the chapel, exactly when you are required to have left the chapel, and when the webcast video will be switched on and switched off. Get it in writing and with exact times, properly described.

On the day, my mother's funeral went ok and the video was complete. However, I wouldn't want anyone else to go through that moment of intense stress and confusion just before starting.

I cannot recommend them highly enough.  So efficient, thoughtful and caring, Helen and Charly made planning the funeral so easy and the result was a wonderful service which achieved everything I wanted.   I was dreading the initial meeting but plenty of coffee biscuits and hankies were at the ready and that set the tone for a very positive experience.  Everyone involved was so helpful and all went without a hitch.  Amazing.  Thank you.
