In our time of sadness Brunskill Family Funerals were there for us every step of the way, helping and guiding us through everything that needed to be done. They supported us to carry out our last wishes of doing our mum’s hair and makeup ourselves. They gave us plenty of time to say goodbye and the day of the funeral was carried out beautifully. I would highly recommend Brunskill Family Funerals with their compassionate ethos and caring ways.

I can't begin to describe how accomodating and sensitive Ed and his family were during this difficult time. We had to try and get things sorted and the funeral done as soon as possible so we can fly the ashes back home and Ed was the only funeral director who worked with me day and night to get this done.

He also managed to get us a Lithuanian speaking priest to accommodate my family's wishes which made it even more special and moving for our family. I can not recommend Ed highly enough. He was sensitive to our traditions and really worked hard to accommodate us. Thank you!

From the moment we contacted Ed he was great and was totally understanding and empathetic to our needs. From my initial phone call to the day of the funeral and afterwards he has been in regular contact. Not just about arrangements but to keep us informed with what was happening. His care for us and our late mum was excellent. On the day of the funeral the service provided by him and his team was exemplary . Totally dignified and respectful. Excellent in all areas. As a family we cannot recommend the Brunskill Family Funeral Service highly enough for all their support they gave us on the passing of my dear mum Sylvia Ferris. Ed Brunskill is a wonderful man who is caring, professional and efficient. He made sure that my mum's funeral service was a very special, memorable occasion. Ed arranged for my mum's coffin to be decorated in a pink wrap with butterfly's.


Ed guided us from the very start, all the way through and made sure that the day was perfect. Please ask Ed to look at our "Order of Service" which was truly beautiful. Thank you from all the family for everything xxx

After my great auntie passed away suddenly, I found Brunskill Family Funerals. Since enquiring, Ed was so accommodating and reassuring. There was no pressure and everything was discussed with a lot of compassion. Following my family traditions, my mum wanted to have a viewing of my great auntie for a few of her friends- Ed respected and prepared her beautifully and took a lot of care into small details.
Even though there was only a small number of us at the funeral, it was intimate and a beautiful service.
I couldn't of wished for a better funeral director and would choose them again in a heartbeat!

I wholeheartedly recommend Ed and his Team. My husband died of a heart attack in the middle of the Covid Pandemic and Ed organised a beautiful cremation service at Mortlake Crematorium for the family at the beginning of May. It surpassed all our expectations in this time of restrictions. Ed was extremely professional and helpful throughout. Indeed, his input and assistance was invaluable.

Ed worked amazingly well for my fathers funeral. In what was an extremely difficult time he helped with every detail and was incredibly lovely throughout the entire thing even keeping in contact after the ceremony. I can’t thank Ed enough for all his work and how he handled everything with such pride! I just wish I had used him for my mother’s funeral too ❤️
