Excellent heading towards outstanding. The care, respect, kindness and professionalism shown to my late wife Sonja and all of my family was second to none. Karen, and the Funeral Director (Steve) and Pallbearers were punctual, polite and so respectful. They should feel very proud of themselves; they did their work well. As did the Rev Martin Davies and his team at St Mary's Church. This whole team supported us in giving my dear wife and mother to our children the send off that she so rightly deserved. Thank you all.

I would definitely give a five star rating to HC Grimstead. Karen, the funeral director is such a lovely, warm and empathic person who helped Mary, Pascal's sister, and myself through the emotionally difficult task of arranging his funeral. She couldn't have been more helpful and understanding and thanks to her professionalism and expertise we had a truly beautiful funeral. I also wish to thank Ben, Steve and the hearse driver who demonstrated deep respect, sympathy and total professionalism on the day. From the initial meeting with Karen to the day of the funeral we felt we were in very good hands. Heartfelt thanks to Karen and her team.

From beginning to end, Karen at Grimsteads was sympathetic, caring, practical and offered excellent advice on matters such as the flowers. She helped to arrange a beautiful funeral with the help of the lovely Abbie and her team who did a grand job on the day. Everything ran like clockwork with attention to the smallest detail. We were a little disappointed that we had to chase all the time to obtain information.
Nearly 2 weeks after funeral and still awaiting Invoice for order of service,memory cards and video at crem.
No confirmation as to where our mothers fleece went too.
My mother choose H C Grimstead so she would be near me when she passed. They did not explain when the funeral plan was taken out that they do not have the same refrigeration on site as the holding hub has and only bring the body over 2 days before the funeral. This needs to be explained in the funeral plan not after the death.
Alot mixed messages and casket was not ordered when requested.
The cars and funeral itself were perfect.
Just feel a little let down with undertakers communication.
