Everything went very well and we are grateful for the help, guidance and kindness we received. The only hiccup was issue over my mother’s pre paid funeral. It was soon sorted.

I don’t think the service could have been handled any better.
Everyone involved in Valerie’s funeral did an excellent job.I believe it was a gentleman named Paul who guided us,
He was very kind and did a fantastic job. Gary the celebrant was also very good and helped a sad day seem not so bad. Thank you all .

Very pleased with the care the Co-op gave  me for my husbands funeral. From start to finish the service ok and help was absolutely excellent! I couldn’t have chosen a better way for my husband to finish his passing from this world.

All the services I received up to and on the day were very good. The funeral arranger was very helpful with making the arrangements. However there was some confusion about the orders of service. I received a bill after the funeral for the orders of service. The funeral package we had chosen included a portrait up to the value of £80. I had asked that as I had chosen the small portrait at the cost of £50 that the remaining money £30 be offset again st the orders of service. The cost of 70 orders of service were £114 and if you subtract £30 from that you are left with a bill of £84. I have paid £93.20 No one could explain that amount to me. So albeit a small thing it ends up tainting the whole event. In view of the amount of the funeral package I feel that it would be worth considering including orders of service in the package.

Very good service. We had direct cremation with Upminster brunch. Professional advise throughout and reasonable fees. I understand that it is quite standard procedure, thus only 4 stars rather then 5.

I have absolutely nothing good to say. The service we received was totally avoidable to the point we didn't even know if my dads funeral was going to happen as on the day he still didnt have a coffin up until 3 hrs b4 the arranged service .... I do not recommend at all.

Its such a sad an emotional time when you loose someone. From the minute i walked through the door Julie made me feel at ease. Everything i asked for was not a problem. The whole process was managed brilliantly from beginning to end and even the after service was excellent. Julie never forgets your name and is such a proffessional. Thank you all for assisting us with my mums funeral.

Julie at Upminster Co-Op was absolutely brilliant. She arranged everything for us efficiently, guiding us through the many choices offered and also recommended Peter Moule to be our celebrant which was another excellent suggestion. Peter liaised with us prior to the funeral regarding the Order of Service and then conducted the small ceremony with relaxed professionalism. A few days before the funeral I was contacted by Adam who advised me on the timetable of events and took care of some last-minute fine tuning. His relaxed and caring manner helped put us at our ease before and after the service. The teamwork was first class and helped to give Mum the send-off she deserved. She would have loved to have been there to see it! Thank you all very much indeed.

We were very happy with the way the funeral was managed with dignity and how we were kept informed throughout. Apart from a small mishap at the beginning regarding which chapel was booked the proceedings went very well. I found the Co-op in Upminster to be very professional in all aspects.  Julie was very helpful in the planning stages,  pointing out certain areas, based on her vast experience.  This helped to focus the mind and indeed the financial side.  Also the undertaker Anthony and the celebrant Andrew MacCalman was very professional and would highly recommend.

My parents used the co op to arrange their parents funerals and always received excellent service, which is why we chose co op to arrange my father's funeral. Julie was very caring and understanding and gave us guidance when we needed it. On the day of the funeral Chris and his colleagues were very respectful and caring.
