I was very pleased with the service I received when arranging my wife's funeral. Lucy, in the Biggin Hill office, was friendly, kind, considerate and very helpful explaining the options and costs. She also pointed out other things that I needed to consider, such as the type of service, decoration of the coffin, order of service and visual tribute. On the day of the funeral the staff accompanying the hearse and limousine ensured that everything went without a hitch. Overall I think the service offered by Mears was excellent.

Lucy at the Biggin Hill Branch was lovely. She was very easy to deal with, professional, understanding and thoughtful. For our funeral we had time restrictions as family had to come from abroad, yet the whole process went smoothly. The pall bearers were very professional and discreet.

My mother passed away on 27th June and the Funeral was arranged for the 25th July. It was carried out in a most dignified and and caring way. Funeral Director
contacted me previously to make sure the arrangements were as specified as did the chosen Minister. Both were friendly and professional and the Service was very

Flowers not as stated, 6 was more of a 4 seater for normal size adults. Non-Vicar was ok, but excessively expensive at £295 for 15 minutes actual operative work/speech although this was not required. Funeral location was good & tidy & clean. How can it be justified to increase the coffin cost by £150 with a very slightly longer cheap timber extention? Additionally, it was mentioned to me that there were severe markings to show the coffin or its handles were second hand & the handles were not those ordered & paid for!

very sympathetic and understanding, no hard sell, everything explained and any details clarified: phone calls came when they were expected, meetings were on time, suggestions were offered with a view to the smooth running of the funeral: Mears contacted any 'third party' to help with the organisation of events, such as organist, priest and others: Mears had a 'light touch' and stuck to the agenda, made things happen when my mind was occupied by any number of other death related activities - Thank you very much, very professional and no complications, highly recommended.

Our dear son, Sean, died suddenly in Spain. Obviously we were devastated and knew not what to do.
His partner in Spain, by chance, on the internet, contacted Mears Repatriation - London Biggin Hill Airport. We subsequntly met them, and initially impressed, agreed that they'd not only bring him home, but carry out the funeral as well.
Steve Mears outlined the procedure, showing professionalism, compassion and efficiency, in perfect balance. Then passing us to General Manager Lisa McDemott, the painful process carried on in the same manner. Exemplary throughout is the only way to describe this company.
We felt that if they could have taken our pain away, they would have. Thank you all.
