Lovely. Really happy. Would have given a 5 star. But felt that the lady dealing was just ticking boxes. Not very sympathetic. Was not happy how she acted or dealt with the life policy, Aviva. She kinda sniggered when we asked that she calls Aviva “ we don’t do that. You WANT me to call” .that’s what we were asking. We needed her help, on one of the worst times of our life’s.

However saying that she tried her best to please, when this was stated.
Funeral chaps on the day lovely . Very compassionate.

We contacted this branch as we had a pre paid funeral plan in place and because of this I feel we received below standard service. If we had been sitting there with an open cheque book I feel we would have (hopefully) received a totally different experience. We were forced into the the least popular time slots and were allowed no room for manoeuvre. We were told that we could not delay by another week for returning relatives as it was too long after the death even though another company confirmed this was not the case. Unfortunately we were arranging two funerals at the same time so were able to have a direct comparison between two funeral directors. Our Mum was left at the hospital for two weeks even though we'd been asked to book a temporary date so that she could be been taken into the funeral directors care. Their only saving grace was on the day of the funeral when we, and our Mum, were treated with dignity and respect, however their office management leave a lot to be desired at a highly emotional and distressing time.
