The funeral and the crew that conducted the funeral were brilliant.

However, Coop management have made some very poor decisions.

They now do a credit check when booking a funeral, they did not tell us this and caused the family distress even though the full cost came out of my fathers estate.

This meant that until the funeral was paid in full they would not collect my father from Margate.

This meant by the time he was collected, his body was too frail to be embalmed.
Consequently we as a family could not view and say goodbye one last time.

They eventually told the family that my father had not been embalmed the day before the funeral.

Now three weeks latter still haven’t returned the payment for embalming to my fathers estate.

Finally as my father was an ex employee and shareholder I would have expected a better service.

The attention to detail in the planning of the ceremony was amazing. Even down to the colour of the ties worn by the pall bearers which matched the colours of my Dad's favourite football team

Well organised funeral with excellent support from Caroline and her team. The celebrant, Kylie, has now conducted a number of our family's cremations. She is always able to set the right mood on the day and speak very sincerely about the person in question

When our Mum died, we knew that she wanted us to arrange her cremation through the Co-op Funeralcare Eltham. From the very first phone call made on the day she died, the two Gentlemen who came to collect her, the meeting with Monica to arrange the cremation, through to the call after the Funeral, everything was amazing. The care and respect that was shown to our Mum and to us as a family was above and beyond anything we had expected. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

From the outset, Monica understood our wishes and that of our late father. She went above and beyond to get the date we requested, for the funeral we desired. 
Coupled with the attentiveness of Sam and his team who dealt with the arrangements on the day, we as a family were very happy with the way the service went and the care we were shown.

Monica guided and supported me through the process with the funeral of my mother Jennie Jones. She was compassionate and professional throughout this sad time.
Everything went perfectly from the start to the service.
Would like to thank the Celebrant-  David Matthews he delivered the eulogies as if he had known Jennie.
It would have been helpful, if an Order of service could have been offered as an add on to the cost.
