This is the first funeral my family had to arrange and it honestly was the hardest thing to do. But I honestly felt we got all the help we needed and guidance, they answered calls and if we didn’t get through straight away they called back. Thank you Cecilia because you really helped my family through this difficult time. The only issue was the collection of my sister, she was collected late which we didn’t like as we wanted more time with her before the burial. But other than that, everything went well and we laid our beautiful sister to rest. Thank you so much.

Aarons service was absolutely beautiful. Staff was excellent, caring and considerate.
They helped planning aarons funeral more bearable couldn't ask for anything better! Me and Tiffany would like to thank sue Rummey and Paul for making aarons day beautiful and special!

Disappointing service due to:

-It was always so difficult to get through to the Co-op on the phone and email
replies were slow.
-The wrong song was played at the end of our Dad's funeral which was
upsetting.
-One of the pall bearers was rude to my brother on the day on the funeral.
-Poor value for money.

However, the celebrant, Jan Ryan, and Funeral Director, Michael, were both so helpful and caring. My family and I are very grateful to them both as without them the experience of dealing with the Co-op would have been extremely disappointing.

With my emotions so high after losing our dad I found that the service we received was very good,after few hick ups which were quickly resolved, they looked after my dad and did everything I asked, the chief mourner on the day of the service vernon was so compassionate and we didn't feel at all rushed . They delivered everything we wanted for my dad.

My Ex Wife requested a Direct cremation ...  many of her friends and family did not want this but we respected her wishes ..  At the time of arranging this I asked if I would be be informed of the time and date of the cremation .. the reply was Yes ...  On two further email contacts with Cecilia at Woolwich co op I was again told "Yes I will let you know the date and time as soon as we have it .... 
Friends and family planned to show there respects at this time and date in their own private way ...  
THE CO OP DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE TIME AND DATE UNTIL 4 DAYS AFTER IT HAD HAPPENED ... AND THAT WAS ONLY WHEN I REQUESTED AN UPDATE ..
I will never ever use these Thoughtless morons again ,  they have caused great upset ...

Co op funeral directors in Woolwich, London were absolutely fantastic and brilliant. From the first steps of walking into the office to start making the arrangements until after the funeral itself, nothing was ever too much trouble. In particular, Mark Thompson, was so attentive. He took care of everything and every little detail was taken care of. He even checked back after to see how we were coping.
I cannot thank him enough for what he did at what was a very hard time.
I would never have any problems in recommending the Co op to anyone else at all.
