Kelly at Coop Funeral Care in Pittshangar is probably the kindest and helpful professional I've ever worked with. She has a calm, patient and informative manner which when combined with her ability to listen, provide accurate details and execute on all wishes, makes her an excellent service provider. Well done Kelly, you made our experience for my mother very real and thoughtful.

Kelly and Martin were extremely helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and their attention to detail was exemplary. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again.

Kelly at Ealing Funeralcare was very helpful all the way through. I felt looked after and it always seemed that she cared about getting it right for the family.

I would not hesitate to recommend this branch of CoOp Funeralcare.

The Coop let me down terribly on several occasions. Although the funeral service went well on the day, Ealing branch were very poor. Kelly forgot to call me back when she said she would do so one day. I was made to feel as if my mother's funeral was unimportant. I felt nobody was contacting me to arrange the service and the book of flowers was corrupt so I could not open the first copy. Kelly failed to get a person of clergy to call me and so I was left to call out of hours staff to raise a call for help. Kelly also sent the cremation forms addressed to my late mother rather than myself to sign and was off then for a few days so the funeral branch completely closed and I ended up being supported by Laura Saunders who overseas many branches. Somehow, although we are Church of England, a catholic priest was put forward and the service book had the catholic Lords Prayer. This came to light the weekend before my mothers funeral when the priest got covid. The Coop then had a variety of catholic priests and also a celebrant contacting me. It was extremely distressing and I will write a formal complaint. I finally got a lady called Coleen supporting me that weekend but she was unable to get the service booklet prayer corrected so had to print up an insert. The celebrant who was stood down sent me a rude text indicating I was pestering him when I was simply returning his call. The whole thing was a disgrace. Thankfully Coleen was able to secure a C of E reverend and I was able to share my tribute to mum but this took all day on the Sat before the funeral on the following Monday. I was also told I would need to pay for the reprinted booklets that would not be ready on the day. The whole thing was completely unacceptable. My funeral director on the day of the funeral and her care was wonderful but I am still so shocked that somehow a catholic priest was mistakenly put forward. I felt I was having to project manage people. This was a prepaid Silver Plan and only the flowers and service needed to be organised at the time. It was shameful. L Wilson

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Pitsahanger Lane, they put in a lot of effort to make the funeral a complete success. Always friendly and prompt, we had complete confidence that all would go well. And support on the day was very friendly and appropriate. Thank you .

From the moment I contacted Kelly it was such an easy experience in such a sad time. The whole arrangements were done in such
a kind ,personal & professional way.
Kelly put me in touch with Clare Morley a Humanist to officiate at my brothers funeral,
She is kind respectful and absolutely the right person to celebrate the passing of my brother.
Everyone we dealt with at the Co-Op Funeral Services were amazing.
A huge thank you to Kelly,Abbi,Clare and Martin

We were given a date which we were told we could share with friends and family but the church was not available on that date. It took another 5 days to get another date. Kelly was charming but seemed unsure about some things. We were given 24 hours notice of when the order of service needed to be finished to have it printed which caused stress because the church admin and the Reverend were away. The hearse and family car were on time and the guys professional. However I found the family car could have been cleaner, it was old and the air conditioning inadequate. Definitely not worth £240. We would have been more comfortable in my 7 year old Volvo.

I really couldn’t have wished for better.
Organised, respectful and contact at every stage to make sure things were as I wished. My very organised late Mother would definitely have approved.
So thank you Martin and Co for making a hard day more bearable.

    Very helpful and friendly.

  • 3 William Brown 11th Jul 2022

i was generally satisfied with the service but for one thing which was the initial pricing agreement involving the crematorium fee of £645. When arranging a date and time for the funeral I was never made aware of the scale of charges which I subsequently found out varied considerably depending on the time of day for the service. The early morning service is £365, as opposed £645for the afternoon one, the only choice I was given and which I have been charged.

Another issue I had was with the delay in delivering the body to the undertaker which happened at about 2pm on the preceeding day of the funeral giving myself and my sister in law only a short space of time to see Aliena in her coffin and grieve for her. This was despite previously being told by the manager Kelly the mortary had after a delay had already released Aliena from the mortuary and sent to the undertaker. I was therefore surprised on my arrival at the undertakers office to find this did not happen until my arrival there.

Both Kelly & Martin @ Ealing funeral care was fantastic.
My family & I were really happy with all the care and dedication that was given in preparing for my Dad's funeral. Nothing was to much trouble and I was constantly updated with funeral details.
Martin was the leading funeral director on the day and was lovely. He did a great job of making sure all the needs of the family were met.
    I would definately recommend.

    Many Thanks.

My family funeral director was Kelly. She demonstrated care and sympathy at all times. She made every effort to accommodate the family needs. There was good communication from each person contacting me to forming me on what each stage entailed and the next step. My mother would like to thank Alan and his team for their patience and care in transporting the family.
