We received an excellent service from Mark and Louise for my father’s funeral recently. We did not hesitate in using their services again, as they arranged the funeral for my mother almost 3 years ago. I personally found Mark’s comforting voice from the off-set (on our first call) very soothing and reassuring!

His compassion and the  knowledge he imparted from our first call was priceless given we were in shock, turmoil and disbelief at the sudden passing of our dear brother; it really made a difference!

And mark didnt disappoint on meeting him as you really get a sense of Mark’s genuine compassion; he really cares and isn’t just about “the job” as every interaction with me thereafter was given with due care and empathy making sure I was comfortable and my needs were met every step of the way!

my mum's funeral was very recent and due to the circumstances of my mum's death, it wasn't what you call normal. As soon as I walked in and spoke to louise I knew straight away I was in the right funeral directors. The whole team are not only amazing and totally professional but they went above and beyond to help me and husband with our grief. Louise made the process as easy and stress free as she possibly could, i cannot thank her enough.
I also would like to mention a very big thank you to Katie, she was our celebrant and was  appointed to us by Louise.

When losing a loved one, a funeral is a sense of closure and can feel like the hardest thing to plan. Rouse & Co were the most caring, hassle free company to work with. Being recommended we had high expectations and they surpassed. They guided us through the process and gave us time to grieve putting no pressure on us. The funeral was exactly what we had imagined and every idea we had they made possible. Gave us a beautiful send off and cared for us every step of the way. Special mention for Louise & Mark for being there for us more then funeral directors but like family.

If I need to use a funeral director again I'll use Rouse & Co.

Louise and Mark were exceptionally caring, considerate and as a family we felt hugely supported by them. They handled all the arrangements with sensitivity and gave us information to help us make decisions without us feeling overwhelmed by the arrangements. We wanted our father's funeral to be in Yorkshire and they arranged all of that for us with care and professionalism at a difficult time.

Rouse and co provided an outstanding service. All staff were approachable and knowledgeable and it was clear that their main aim was to ensure that they supported us to plan a funeral that was truly bespoke without trying to persuade us to make costly choices. Their communication was excellent and they answered all of our questions promptly, either on the phone or via email and gave us ideas and suggestions which made the funeral absolutely beautiful. Each and every one of the staff were so kind and helpful and there was no pressure to make decisions quickly and they ensured they worked at our pace, which is exactly what we needed when planning such an emotionally difficult event. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them and they were flexible when we changed our mind about certain aspects of the funeral. I really couldn’t recommend them enough and we are so grateful we chose them to direct the funeral for our mum, it was simply perfect in every single way.
