My wife passed away on 21st August 2022.On recommendations from our lady's of the Annunciation Church, we entrusted D A Lindsey to carry out her funeral. From out initial introduction to collecting her ashes we received excellent advice and support from a dedicated team who helped make Kathy's funeral a special day. They arranged, church,cemetery,organist at church,
music at cemetery, donation website page, which took the pressure from myself during a difficult time.
Highly recommended.

I could never say enough good things about David and Holly and our experience at D.A. Lindsay & Sons. I wish I could give them 10 stars. My mother-in-law passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while we were visiting her from California. A few years ago she'd moved her funeral plan to be with David and I am forever grateful to her for that.

Nothing was too much for David and Holly and they handled every interaction with compassion and kindness. They went out of their way to get things done for us and were available whenever we called or emailed. We were in total shock and deep grief, but having David and Holly there to help us navigate this most difficult time was such a relief. 

The funeral was beautiful and everything we could have hoped for. The way in which they honored my mother-in-law was truly touching and we will be forever grateful to David, Holly and the whole team at D.A. Lindsay & Sons for their kindness, compassion and support during our t ... ime of grief.  more

I have only good things to say about D A Lindsay & Sons. Right from the very first phone call they were polite, caring and helpful. They were always available to help and assist us throughout the whole process. My Dad had chosen them in his Funeral Plan and he chose wisely. Everything went to plan, the funeral was the best it could have been given the circumstances. Grace the Celebrant was brilliant. My main point of contact was Holly who always dealt with any concerns or questions that I had. David and his drivers were professional, caring and great on the day. I would wholeheartedly recommend D A Lindsay & Sons and, if the sad occasion arises that I need to use a funeral directors again, I will most definitely be coming back to them. My family engaged DALindsay and sons to undertake the arrangements following our recent devastating bereavement as I had heard them recommended by local friends.
Holly, our funeral director, expertly managed all the arrangements and the visit to their chapel of rest with great sensitivity and kindness. All our wishes were attended to. She also ensured everything went smoothly on the day of the funeral with her team of gentlemen pallbearers and drivers.
The costs were very reasonable too. I would certainly recommend DALindsay and sons.

There are not enough ways to say thank you for all the care and dignity that was shown to me and my late husband. It has been the most horrific time of my life but I was shown so much compassion. I visited my husband every day and nothing was to much trouble, it is all the little touches that have made it so much easier like the chats in the office with a cup of tea after I had finished talking to my husband
The whole place is spotless and the small family run business gives you the personal touch and they make you feel like your loved one is the only one there. I was never felt rushed or had to make an appointment to see my him I could come when it suited me.
