Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to Caroline Willis at Petts Wood who was so kind and helpful to us for making the funeral arrangements for my late wife and also for recommending Michelle (the Minister) who was also exceptional. The funeral went without a hitch and it turned out just the way we wanted it. So a big thank you to all concerned at Funeralcare including Vernon the kind, helpful Funeral Director. I would recommend Co-op Funeralcare to anyone.

I was put onto Caroline @ Petts Wood Funeralcare. Caroline was amazing!


The handling of my initial communication was completed seamlessly and professionally. Especially as I was unable to go into the Funeralcare office.

When meeting Caroline at the agreed appointment. Everything was clearly explained and support was there throughout, until the day of the funeral.

I cannot express enough, my families gratitude to to support offered by Caroline and the Funeral team. A special mention must go to Simon on the day. Who stepped us through every piece of the plan and what we needed to do.

My thanks goes out to the whole Co-Op Funeralcare team.

All the staff at Petts Wood and Orpington (particularly Belinda and Sam) could not have been more helpful during this difficult time. We explained what we wanted and everyone was proactive in ensuring that mum got the funeral she had planned. They even came up with suggestions for little details that we hadn’t thought of. They got the balance between remaining professional and showing empathy exactly right. I can’t recommend highly enough….

Went in explaining father had bought a plan but i could not find.
Was told they will sort and get back to me. A week later still no response and by then I found the policy. I then telephoned , being given the excuse post code did not marry up with address (Their mistake) and still reluctant to proceed.
Given funeral date by email. Responded date was fine. Told family. Next day received email ,date had been taken. Given another date , again said yes.
No response so went to shop and sat there until confirmed date given. Else emails would just be going back and forth.
Printed order of service. I ok,d not realising that the most simplest of things were wrong 202 instead of 2022. The date!!
Emailed to say this was wrong. Was told it had been noted, believing this was noted before my comments and before print.
On the funeral day these wrong printed order of service books were brought a long with the agreed ones.!!!
All in all... more respect from the service organisers than from the shop. Complete contrast to 'Doves' that we used 2 months earlier for my husbands mother.

I left a message at the Catford Branch and before they returned my call your Sales Department rang me asking about sorting out the deceased persons financial affairs. 

I wasn’t told I could organise the cremation direct with The undertakers who gave the contest with Beckenham which would have been so much better. 

Finally, you have asked me to review you when the deceased is still in your care, surely you could have waited. In my opinion your Company is only in it for the money!!
