It was a direct cremation and was told i would be informed when the cremation was taking place but the next thing i heard was that the ashes were ready to collect.

During this difficult time Jolene and Sam at Orpington and our celebrant Michelle made the whole experience personal and a joyous tribute to our Dad.

Thank you so much for making this hard process as easy and stress free as possible and managing the whole experience so professionally yet personably.

It was a beautiful, although needless to say sad day thanks to their efforts.

All the staff, from Joelne, the bereavement team to the undertakers were professional but approachable and supportive. From the moment I stepped through the doors, Jolene showed compassion and empathy. Her support / advice was sorely needed and welcomed as this was the first time I've ever had to plan and organise a funeral, especially in the lead up to the festive season. She was an absolute gem. Sam, including colleagues provided a superlative service on the day with respect, dignity and decorum. Whilst this was an incredibly painful and emotional time for myself and my family, the exemplary support made everything feel less daunting. A most heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Orpington Funeralcare for taking such good care of my brother and for helping me to make the day special.

Jolene was our contact at the funeral directors and she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and exactly how we wanted it to. On the day the funeral was amazing and the staff were incredible. I will definitely be recommending them to others

Jolene was so lovely and helpful at a really difficult time.  She took time to get us just the right celebrant and she was also perfect.  On the day, Sam made sure the family were the priority and went above and beyond to make sure we were supported.  Orpington Co-op funeral care were incredible from start to finish.  I’m so thankful we used them.

We were very pleased with the Funeral for my father arranged by Joleen at the Orpington Branch of Co-op Funeral Care - everthing went well and to plan. Joleen was very helpful during our visit to arrange the funeral and took time to explain the various options and did not pur any pressure on us to agree to options we did not want. We were also very pleased with the celebrant that Joleen arranged to conduct the service for us.

So overall - excellent!

Was distressed to learn my mum was only in your Chapel from the Wednesday before her funeral on the Monday . Felt deprived of viewing time . I also noticed that when cards were put on flowers outside the house they were put on the wrong ones ! Also
Being pressured to pay before the day of funeral !!  I explained I was waiting for a policy to be paid , but no empathy was shown from funeral
Director at all . The only helpful person was Jolene , in helping plan everything , as in tribute, order of service etc .
