This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation
Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements
Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises) into the funeral director’s care during working hours
Care of the deceased person before the funeral in appropriate facilities. The deceased person will be kept at the funeral director’s premises
Providing a suitable coffin – this will be made from [oak veneer]
Viewing of the deceased person for family and friends, by appointment with the funeral director (where viewing is requested by the customer)
At a date and time you agree with the funeral director, taking the deceased person direct to the agreed cemetery or crematorium (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises) in a hearse or other appropriate vehicle

P L Mulligan Family Funeral Directors is a family business offering a professional and sympathetic service to bereaved families in the local community. Their aim is to ensure that your funeral arrangements are made without unnecessary complication or worry.

When arranging your loved one’s funeral they will take you through everything, from deciding between a cremation or a burial, what type of coffin or casket you’d like, to whether you’d prefer a traditional or alternative hearse.

On the day of the funeral their conductor and bearers will be in attendance to take care of you and your loved ones, and their modern fleet of Jaguar XJ hearses and limousines will ensure you and the family are comfortable.

In addition to providing the funeral service P L Mulligan Family Funeral Directors can also provide a range of memorial and headstone options, and advise you on pre-paid funeral plans.They also have a full repatriation service which includes transportation of your loved one, choice of coffin or casket and completion of all of the necessary paperwork.

Their Welling funeral home is located on Welling High Street and is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm, with a 24-hour telephone service. Their chapel of rest is available during normal working hours by appointment as well as on Saturdays and Sundays.

I'm grateful to Julie at Mulligan's for organising a lovely funeral. I found it a really comforting day. Their service was very professional, considerate and sympathetic.

Their recommendations for the flowers and funeral reception were great and the funeral celebrant Steve did a wonderful address. It all felt very personal as it was very much about Dad. Many people told us how heartening they found it.
