Despite the circumstances we were faced with, Albins performed the service with professionalism. Even the nice touch of driving past their shop to see staff bow when the hearse drove past was touching . Thanks to Chris for making things easy to understand and helping us through the weeks leading up to dad's service.Thank you all for treating my dad with dignity on what was a sad day for the family.

I have been sitting here trying to find the most appropriate words to describe these Funeral Directors and all the staff they have working for them. (We used the Welling branch). If there was another level above first class, they would be at the very top of that level. The branch manager Christine met myself, my son and daughter at our appointment to discuss the funeral of my husband. She was the most compassionate and amazing lady. She went through all the details with us in a most concise and compassionate way and made us feel very at ease. She recommended Father Michael to do our service and advised us that he came highly recommended. He could not have been any nicer. It was an absolute pleasure to meet with him at our home to talk about my husband. He very much put us at ease with his excellent sense of humour, which we loved and felt he was the perfect choice to speak about my husband as when he was alive, he had a similar sense of humour so it seemed the perfect choice. ... Once the date was set for the funeral my daughter then went about sorting out the order of service and was in constant contact with Christine or Father Michael if needed. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very approachable. If we had any questions they and other members of staff were only too happy to help and steer us in the right direction. The day before the funeral I received a call from Christine who advised us how the day was going to unfold. On the day, I was met by George and his staff who were absolutely impeccably dressed and treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism that took my breath away. They dealt with every issue that arose i.e. flower cards that had been forgotten, they had duplicates which we could use, they were extremely calm put us all at ease and I am now going to refer you back to first class levels again!!! We arrived at the crematorium and we had asked if family could carry our coffin in. The guys were extremely kind and helpful as all the guys carrying our coffin were different heights!! The service could not have been better. Father Michael sounded as if he almost knew my husband and we were all so happy with the service. People are still sending us comments about F A Albin Welling and Father Michael and saying that the service could not have gone any better and we did my husband proud. I cannot thank this company and all of its employees enough. My husband's family were extremely happy with his send off and all of our friends too. Our funeral was at 11.00 am. We left The Seven Acre Sports and Social Club 10.00pm (which was where we held the celebration afterwards). As sad as it was it definitely felt like a celebration which my daughter was desperate to achieve. I highly recommend this company and all of its impeccably trained staff who provided a service with, in my opinion, levels off the scale. more

On the day of the funeral itself, George was also fantastic.

We couldn’t have asked for a better service for our beloved Ashley. From the minute Albins had picked up Ashley from his home to the end of the funeral the service was absolutely amazing. Christine and her team looked after both Ashley and the family extremely well.  The team have so much compassion that they make a very difficult time less stressful and more easier to deal with. We saw our Ashley at the Chapel of rest 4 weeks after his death and the team at Rotherhithe dressed him how we wanted and respected all our wishes and made Ashley look at peace. Christine was very calming and let us have as much time as we needed. On the day of Ashley’s funeral George, Darren and the boys were amazing! They dressed the coffin and hearse so beautifully that Ashley arrived in absolute style and looked stunning. The boys were very respectful and made us feel like royalty as we were well looked after and were talking with us the whole time. They let me and my siblings walk behind our brother ... when we set off for the Crematorium and respected all our wishes. When Ashley was driven past the Welling branch Christine was there waiting for Ashley which made us feel that he and us were very loved. We would highly recommend the team as the love, compassion and respect they have for the deceased and their family is outstanding. They made a very difficult day into a beautiful celebration. We had our priest Father Michael Jones lead the service and the service was just simply perfect, in actual fact the whole day was perfect. We also had two doves from Albins and George assisted with Ashley’s parents to let them go which made everyone smile! Thank you so much to Christine, Dawn, George, Darren and the boys for giving our Ashley the send off that he deserves xx more

From the outset, everybody at Albin's was excellent from Christine and Dawn at the Welling branch to the two guys who came to my house to collect Susan. They were courteous and respectful and treated my daughters and I very sympathetically. On the day of the funeral, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people, lead by Steve, to see us through the funeral service. They made the experience more bearable and handled every little detail, leaving us with the time we needed to pay our respects and grieve.

This was our second time using Albins. Christine at the Welling Branch was again supportive and helpful throughout, making the process as easy as it could be. Frpm time of taking Mum into their care to after the service Albins did a great job. On the day of the Funeral, Chris and the team were totally professional and did their bit calmly and respectfully - remarked positively on by guests. It all added to a good celebratory send off. To whom it may concern,




On Friday 2nd August 2019 F A Albins done the funeral for my Late Girlfriend Tracey Neal, I wanted to email and say just how amazing your service is.
From the start of engaging in your services Chris at your Welling office was compassionate, she was understanding of our needs and always accommodating to us, she even called me a few times just to see how I was doing, she at all times remained very professional, and made an extremely difficult time in my life so much easier.
Even bringing Tracey down from castleford wasn’t too much trouble, I was told the guys that went to get Tracey left at 4am!! That’s a big deal for us as it meant we could all say goodbye at the chapel of rest so we are extremely grateful to them for doing that for us.




To see Tracey before the cremation we had to go to Rotherhithe to your head office, I explained I’ve not seen her for nearly 3 weeks since she passed awa ... y and I’ve never been to a chapel of rest before, Scott took me down the hall we stopped outside and he explained what I should expect, we went into the lily chapel, (incidentally Lily’s were Tracey’s favourite flower so that was a nice touch) I walked over to Tracey and just started crying and Scott put his hand on my shoulder and comforted me and then gave all the time I needed to say goodbye to the love of my life. Also joanne and the girls on reception were just as amazing, we had a chat and joanne even found me a couple of phone numbers for child bereavement charity’s for the two younger children.




On the day of the funeral George was responsible for us and Tracey’s funeral with his boys, I can’t remember their names, but they also were professional at at times, George kept us up to date with every step of the day, he was absolutely amazing with us, he even let  everybody for Tracey’s Funeral walk behind the hearse the last few yards to the chapel for her service as we didn’t follow in the cars to the crematorium, something we will be forever grateful for.




Myself Tracey’s 2 sons and Tracey’s 3 brothers carried the coffin from the hearse into the chapel for the service, even taking 5-10mins to explain how we were to do it wasn’t too much trouble for George, after the service George even came to find me and said goodbye and wished me and the family well for the future.




I really felt I should write in and say a MASSIVE THANK YOU from myself and my family for making an awful day so much nicer then it should be, we can never tell you all just how fantastic your staff are, words cannot say just how grateful we are for that.

Chris at the funeral directors, made the whole traumatic process easy for us to manage, by allowing to take the time we needed for each decision that had to made. I would recommend Albins to anyone, because the extra care and attention given to the whole process.

Just to say thanks to everyone involved for making the day so special for our Mum. It truly was a celebration and couldn’t have been a more fitting tribute. Chris is such a special person and her guidance at a really distressing time was invaluable. Father Michael is an absolute treasure and also may the day vibrant and uplifting... it felt as if he had known Mum and captured the essence of her perfectly...she would have loved him!




John and the boys were so caring, respectful and patient...and as a family, can’t thank them enough for making the day memorable for all the right reasons. Will be forever grateful to everyone involved.

Christine welcomed us at the office in Welling way and led us through what we wanted in a calm fashion, only sold us what we needed and fixed things we wanted for Dad and us.

The Team on the day were lovely and were especially great with our young ones. All went smoothly, without incident, what more could be asked for.
Throughout, Dad was respected.

Would we use again? Yes, definitely. But hopefully that won't be too soon!
