Everything was handled with due respect making the process as easy as it can be. However when ordering a coffin only to be told twice that the selected items were out of stock was poor. We were not informed of these at the time of ordering so 3 times we had to go to the catalogue. I do not however apportion any blame to Monica who was always most helpful and supportive with the whole process. On the actual day the service from everyone concerned was simply great.

We have used the Bexleyheath branch for my fathers funeral in February and everything was under control and planned perfectly.

We used Bexleyheath for my mothers funeral at the end of June and I didn’t have as much confidence this time. I had to chase the day before the funeral to make sure things had been organised or completed as I wasn’t kept informed. We didn’t even know what time the cars would arrive to collect us.

Once I spoke to Simon , the funeral director for the day, everything was sorted. The funeral itself was perfect with no problems. 

After the funeral, I had to chase again for the invoice. I was told it had been posted but we didn’t receive it. I also had to chase for my mothers ring, fingerprints and when we could collect her ashes. Planning a funeral is a stressful and upsetting time and having to chase and not having confidence in the company is not something that families should be worrying about.

Tina from the Bexleyheath Co-op was amazing in supporting us at this difficult time. She made the organisation of the funeral easy and straightforward. The funeral director called the evening before the funeral to ask if we had any questions and again the day after to check that we were happy with every thing. On the day they were very professional and guided us through the day.
