I first went to a more well known funeral directors but soon discovered they did it their way, not your way. So I went to talk to Clayton at Varley and Varley. It didn't take long for me to change my mind. My daughter and I are 1000% glad we went this this company. Everything we wanted, and we wanted the best for my wonderful husband they did for us, even drove his beloved Merc to lead the procession. Clayton asked me what I wanted and said he would do everything and for me to just look after myself. Nothing was too much trouble as he is a compassionate man who understands grief. There is no falseness about him and the girls who work there are really helpful and lovely. His wife videoed the whole funeral which was conducted by a special lady Clayton also provided. Everyone said it was the best it could have possibly have been.
We done my Ron proud that day.

I am so glad my family was directed to Clayton and Linda, who felt like friends the first minute I spoke with them, and indeed have become so. Whereas other funeral directors felt cold and business-like, Clayton radiated compassion, love, professionalism and respect borne from his lifetime in a family funeral business. Ths small touches he made during a time with so many restrictions on our movements gave dignity, simplicity and the service was carried out impeccably. There are simply not enough words to describe Varley & Varley. The team are the most compassionate, thoughtful and hard working throughout the whole entire process. What could have potentially of been the hardest moments of my life, and creating a unique send off for my dad. With thanks to Clayton and the team, my dad got his very last wish, a bespoke bright orange coffin. My family will be forever thankful for Varley & Varley.

I was fortunate to have received a recommendation for Varley & Varley. Clayton Varley was so warm and empathetic, we felt immediately in good hands. Clayton made lots of helpful suggestions that saved us money, he found the perfect celebrant (a catholic priest) to conduct the service at the crematorium and everything on the day went without a hitch. I have recommended V&V to others as I think his obvious humanity is hard to beat at such a difficult time.

When we got in touch with Varley and Varley with the sad news the lose of our father.

From that moment they welcome us into their office and explained in great details all the different options of service was available and any thing we wanted to add that wasn't offered, they were happy to to provide it.

Nothing was too much to ask just as long it ease the our sadness.

I can honestly say that Varley and Varley are a very professional family run funeral directors, they were warm, friendly and was always there for us even out of hours.

I just like to say to Clayton and all his staff thank you so much for a wonderful service you gave for our father.

This was very tough as it was the height of COVID-19 Pandemic. 
Varley and Varley funeral directors helped me to arrange everything.
it really took the stress away at the most stressful time ever.

I cannot recommend Varley & Varley highly enough. They organised everything professionally, taking care of every aspect of the funeral which really took the pressure off the family. Clayton was always polite and courteous and nothing was ever too much trouble. He went above and beyond to ensure the funeral arrangements went as smoothly as possible.

The price was very competitive, there were no hidden charges and no hard sale. Clayton and his staff were extremely helpful in arranging my fathers funeral. They took all the stress away. I would certainly recommend them as they were extremely professional before the funeral and on the day. We did not have to worry about anything.

My family would be more than happy to recommend them to others due to their duty of care to us and my late father.

Varley & Varley gave a very caring and sensitive service in looking after my Father on his final journey. In the very difficult circumstances that we are living in at the moment where most things I have had to since Dad died have had to be done by telephone or online, it was very re-assuring to meet with Linda and Clayton who supported me through the process and checked up on me to see that I was ok. They kindly sent my Mum flowers. I would thoroughly recommend Varley & Varley as they were attentive, compassionate, efficient and excellent value for money.

Clayton could not have been more considerate and compassionate. He came to the house on the morning that my husband passed away within the hour and no platitudes were made. He arranged everything quietly and involved me as much or as little as I wished. Nothing was too much trouble.
Linda, the funeral manager supported me and the family and so on the rare occasions I could not speak to Clayton, the help was seamless.
They listened to the stories about my husband and his life with interest and so made this stressful and grief stricken time a little less anxious and so much more personal.
I couldn't recommend them more highly. Thank you both.

We were so impressed with the personal care and attention given to us. It was a difficult time, just as lockdown was ending, and we were finally able to have a socially distanced church service prior to the cremation. I would recommend them to anyone, they were impressive
