I have the utmost respect for these independent funeral directors. A personal, empathetic and considerate staff takes the stress off arranging everything when one is grieving. A first class service highly recommended.

Varley & Varley is a wonderful funeral directors. From the first call on a Saturday morning with Clayton after my father sadly passing on the Friday evening he was quick to offer advice, support and help even outside of office hours. Nothing was too much trouble, Sam oversaw all the funeral arrangements and was so efficient & helpful, helping with the smooth organisation of the Order of Service at the crematorium & was a wonderful celebrant speaking at our service. Everything in the run up and on the day ran well and that was all thanks to the care, attention & respect that V&V took. The funeral cars, flowers, pallbearers everything was first class. Thankyou ever so much Clayton and Sam for giving my father such a lovely send off; really mean it that you both went above & beyond to make sure that my family were in a good place to remember my dad and have a special day saying goodbye. We cannot thank Sam & Clayton enough for taking care of our beautiful baby girl in what has been the most difficult time of our lives. Their genuine care and attention to detail with our precious baby is something that you cannot put a price on and no words to say thank you will ever be enough.

As a mother to know Sam cared for my baby like she was one of her own is extremely comforting. Both Sam & Clayton we're incredibly professional, kind & empathetic throughout the planning of our babies funeral and even offering us kindness & support afterwards has truly made the unthinkable that little bit easier.

I cannot recommend this funeral parlour enough and would highly encourage the use of their service.

In August, I was faced with the very difficult and painful decision of making arrangements for my mothers funeral, a couple of days before her passing.
It is a very distressing experience walking into a Funeral Directors office, when your loved one is still alive. I was extremely emotional when I met Clayton. He was very empathetic and courteous and spent a lot of time listening and asking questions about my mother. He made my wife and I feel at ease. There was no hard sell by him at all. Clayton introduced us to Sam who looks after the administrative side.  Together we spent a lot of time planning the perfect service, tailor-made for my mother. Every little detail was taken into consideration. Nothing was too difficult for them. Clayton included personal touches of his own accord which made it extra special to us. Both Clayton and Sam made themselves readily available to our family. They were always at the end of a phone. Every request that we made was taken care of by them. Clayton and Sam alleviated the stress of planning and arranging a funeral. 
The day itself was absolutely perfect. Everything went like clockwork. The staff were dressed immaculately the cars were spotless. The professionalism, courtesy and respect shown was second to none. If you are looking for a Funeral Director that delivers a hundred percent with a personal touch it’s Varley & Varley. I cannot recommend them enough. 

Clayton looked after my late mum as though she was part of his family and for that I will always be very grateful to him. 
Thank you once again Clayton, Sam and your excellent team for all your support and professionalism during a difficult and emotional time.

Varley & Varley were just brilliant. At such a difficult time, they made the funeral aspect easy and stress free. Clayton Varley and his team were so professional, they went above and beyond, with small acts  of kindness that meant so much to me then and now. I felt very looked after from the first meeting to the end of the funeral, the service they provided was full of dignity and class. I was so impressed I can’t thank them enough, they helped me achieve the send off my husband deserved.

Varley and Varley came highly recommended and at that time when you most need care and consideration, the service was delivered. Having met Clayton Varley the day after losing my Mother his approach was not Dickensian. I fully appreciated his advice and professionalism. On the day of the service the event was fully conducted in a compassionate manner with service levels over and above with Sam,the office manager personally delivering to the crematorium flowers that were sent in late. A funeral is one of the most difficult times but Clayton made my Mother's service absolutely complete. Thank you

How can I possibly convey how wonderful Varley & Varley were to myself and my family. Amazing and fantastic doesn’t even scratch the surface. They became friends in a really terrible time. Someone to lean on and to rely on 100%. Sam and Clayton led us by the hand and walked us through every step of the way..We we’re traumatised and heartbroken when my husband passed away but Clayton was so kind and professional. He explained everything to us with genuine compassion and care. Sam arranged the actual funeral and listened to us, remembering every small detail that we had said. 
I can honestly say that I would tell all of my friends to go to Sam and Clayton as they do exactly what they say, call you when they say they will and 100% never ever let you down. 
They made the saddest day of my life, to say goodbye to my husband, as perfect as it could be. I will be forever grateful to them.

I cannot recommend Varley and varley enough. They went above and beyond for my family, they gave my mum the most special, peaceful and beautiful funeral possible. My mum was my world and I trusted them completely with looking after her with the care and respect she deserved. Their staff are amazing, so caring and always there to talk to any time of the day. I was literally blown away by the support and kindness of not just the managers but of the owner and his wife. Nothing was too much trouble and when there was lack of communication at the church, not down to Mr Varley but the priest, he kept me calm and reassured so my brother was able to have the dignified send off he deserved. I can not recommend him enough and while I hope we don't need the service for s long time. I wouldn't consider any other funeral directors.
