Outstanding: advice and guidance was given with great empathy from the outset until the end of the funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was catered for. Varley and Varley dealt with my wife's cremation with great sensitivity and kindness. They guided me through the process at a time when I was not absorbing information. On the day of the cremation again they helped us through a very emotional time. On a practical note their pricing was clear and reasonable.

I don't normally do reviews. However, I feel compelled to record my appreciation for the level of service I received from Varley and Varley regarding my wife's funeral. This was a deeply distressing time for myself and my stepdaughters. All of the staff performed their roles with sincere sympathy, professionalism and attention to detail. The result was a funeral which was perfect in every respect and attracted much praise from my late wife's family, friends and work colleagues. In particular, my stepdaughters this sad event as something beautiful they will remember for the rest of their life. Thank you.

We were utterly devastated to loose my lovely Dad to Covid 19 earlier this year. Varley and Varley have opened new premises in the same road as my Mum n Dad so they are neighbours. They could not have done much more to make sure Dad's send off went as smoothly as it could. We were in such a state of shock that a neighbour went and spoke to Varley and Varley on our behalf, Clayton actually came to the house to introduce himself. From then on, they took care of everything, treating my Dad's funeral like he was one of their own family. The advice, support, compassion and empathy were full of the highest regard for our feelings every step of the way. Clayton and his Team were incredibly professional and courteous; their premises, cars and uniforms were immaculate. Honestly, I can't praise their service enough and Mum has already insisted we use Varley and Varley for her funeral - talk about forward planning! Thank you.

Varley and Varley are without a doubt the most professional and attentive funeral directors I've ever encountered. Every detail of their service is full of compassion and care. They looked after us as a family but more importantly, they looked after my father with the upmost care and respect and for that we will be forever thankful. We are hugely grateful to Clayton and Sam for what they did for our family at a time when we were completely devastated.
Quite simply, we could not have got through this sad time without their kindness, empathy and compassion. And this, together with their consummate professionalism and absolute attention to every detail, meant that our son's funeral was exactly what we hoped for.
In addition, we could not have had a better celebrant than Sam, many people commenting afterwards on her natural warmth and how she had hit exactly the right note throughout.
We cannot thank Clayton and Sam enough and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Varley & Varley to others.

Where do I even start, Sam and Clayton are honestly heaven sent they did everything in their power to make things easier for me and my family in such a sad sad time. I never knew anything about dealing with a funeral, Sam was there for me day and night out of her hours assisting me every step of the way! They will make you forget for half hour what your actually going through and they will make you feel like family! The service was honestly amazing and I’m so glad to have even met Clayton and Sam

The funeral service offered at Varley and Varley is exemplary. When mum passed away last year, we found both Clayton and Sam were professional, kind, friendly, and supportive, guiding us through what we needed to do. At a time when you are trying to get to grips with a loss, they made the funeral process a smooth one. Their experience means they both know just what is needed for each client, gently offering advice.
