A very professional and caring service, conducted and organised ceremony,from the outset to finish by the Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Service especially the wonderful and very compassionate Anna. Excellent conveyance vehicles and pallbearing team.

The service we received was first class and nothing was too much trouble. I would like to make particular mention of Anna at the Grimsby office. She is an absolute credit to Lincolnshire Funeral Services by showing great empathy and understanding in the way she managed the whole process in a totally dignified and professional manner. Mourners attending the funeral were also most impressed.

Having recently had the saddest time of our lives when our loving husband and Dad passed away Anna and her team have been amazing. From the very first telephone conversation Anna with her empathy and compassion has made an almost unbearable situation a lot easier,especially for our Mum,and for that my sister, families and I will forever be grateful. We really cannot find the words to describe our thanks for caring for Dad with the utmost dignity and respect that he deserved. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the service of Anna and her team. Also,if there is an award for an excellent employee who goes above and beyond then we would love to nominate her.Thank you Anna and the team. Excellent service !!!

The professionalism from the Co-op Grimsby Funeral Directors has been wonderful, but the kindness and compassion that comes with it is so incredibly touching. In such strange times with covid19 ,Anna helped so much and was there to help all the way letting us know of any changes straight away. With Anna being so easy to get hold of and so helpful made the funeral of my mum so much less stressful. The funeral arrangements were subject to the social distancing restrictions introduced as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, throughout the entire process, from first contacting Co-op Funeral Services to the Service at Grimsby Crematorium, I felt comfortable, confident and supported.

I would like to thank Anna my Funeral Arranger, John my Funeral Director and Anthony my Civil Celbrant for ensuring that the funeral of my dear mother was conducted with due grace and diligence. In particular the silk flowers provided by the funeral director and the kind words from Anthony within the funeral service, enhanced the experience.

I would like to extend my thanks to all those involved in the funeral arrangements.

We could not have been happier.

Anna did a superb job from start to finish. She is the perfect person for the job with her calm approach, attention to detail and sensitive demeanour.
It was not a straight forward funeral and there were a few hiccups to resolve due to it being a burial at a small church - plus the complications of the corona-virus getting in the way. However, everything went very smoothly on the day and the whole event was as good as could be expected. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Grimsby Coop Funeral Service to others.
A great service just when you need it most!
