Funeral director was 40 minutes late for initial meeting. We had to call after 2 weeks to find out status. Communication was poor. We had to call to see if ashes were available after cremation. We had to proof read newspaper announcement and there were spelling mistakes.
You don't expect to have to chase under such emotional circumstances. Kettles are not the company they used to be since Coop took over.

I was lost. I had previously chosen Armstrong's of Louth as the funeral directors which proved to be a terrible decision. He was awful, unprofessional, dilatory and very expensive.
I went to see Kirsty and Lisa at Kettles Grimsby who dealt with Armstrong, who was rude and offensive when told his services were no longer required.
They then provided me with exactly what I wanted for my wife Susan. What they did was wonderful and fulfilled everything that I wanted, from the moment I met them to when the service concluded and afterwards with words of condolence and support.
I cannot praise those two people enough, not the organisation they represent.

After a not great start we had wonderful service throughout. Eleanor was fabulous with the organizing of the funeral.
Paul was just amazing. He was caring thoughtful and the perfect gentleman throughout the whole process from start to the funeral day itself.

A very professional company. Kettles were compassionate and very thorough, in providing a funeral service which was beautiful and catered for all of our needs. All the staff were very helpful and caring and on the day of the funeral we were all very well looked after. I would not hesitate in recommending Kettles for all Funeral requirements.

I would like to say that the care from Kettles was so thoughtful ,sympathetic and so caring...from the day they received my beautiful daughter until the final day of resting her in peace in her final resting place everything was so dignified and special.
