It's the second time I've used their services as we lost my brother David 18 months ago, so I had no hesitation using them again when Mum left us. As before, Paul and his team did the utmost to make a depressing and sad event as peaceful and caring as possible. Thank you all.

At this difficult time I could not have asked for a more caring and professional service that the Co Op provided me. Everything was explained, advice given and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend. Thank you for taking care of both my father and myself, you made this difficult time pass with ease.

Thank you so much for everything you did for us; it will never be forgotten. Words cannot express our thanks for all the help and services you all implemented on our behalf during our time of grief.

Myself & niece recieved so much kindness from Katie, she went above & beyond to help us through the awful events of planning for the funeral & supported us every step of the way.

Everything done in a very professional and caring way.

Cannot fault service received - in particular from the director Katie.
At this unbelievably sad time for us, all arrangements were made with compassion, understanding and professionalism.
Katie walked us through the whole process and ensured there were no issues or concerns either prior to, or on the day of, the service.
On the day of the service, both Katie and the celebrant, Tony, who officiated at the service, showed great sensitivity - truly appreciated.

Service was good. Staff were courteous and friendly but there was an issue that arose regarding my credit rating which was, incorrectly, showing me as high risk. This was communicated in an insensitive way and my enquiries about the inaccurate credit check were never satisfied. The focus on getting money in the coffers was disappointing and at odds with other companies . If I could have changed service provider, I would have but all I can do is not use this funeral director again.

Paul and the team were very respectful and professional from start to finish. Although there were so many elements to organise, everything came together really well on the day. Thanks to the whole team, including Katie, who was excellent as the Funeral Director on the day, and Kirsty who kept me up to speed with everything that needed doing.

  • 5 Stuart Hibbitt 22nd Jan 2024

The staff at Co Op funeral care are excellent. Very considerate and caring about your loved one. Everything is done to the very highest standard and cannot be faulted.  When you are going through the trauma of losing a loved one they are comforting and considerate.  I have told my family that I want them to handle my funeral when my time comes.

  • 5 Michelle Thomas 8th Jan 2024

This is the 2nd time as a family we have used the service and Paul and the team looked after us all with kindness and respect. The service on the day from start to finish was everything we could have hoped for and our parents would have been pleased with the send off we where supported through.

I am so pleased I chose Grimsby Funeralcare for the funeral arrangements for my late husband. I have found them from the first moment of contact to be very professional in every way. They have proved to be compassionate, caring and sympathetic in every way. They have been helpful with any ideas to help the funeral run smoothly. Paul Webster has been amazing and Kate who stepped in to help while Paul was on a few days leave was lovely too. I just want to say a big thank you for everything.

  • 5 Margaret Willoughby 2nd Jan 2024

Paul Webster at Co-op Funeralcare offered excellent and sympathetic advice at this difficult time. He explained everything clearly, kept in touch and guided us on the day of the funeral itself. The whole team gave exceptional customer care; from collecting Dad from home when he passed, to helping the funeral run smoothly and with such touching respect on his final journey. Thank you.
